When I was exploring assisted living facilities for my Mom, I visited close to twenty places and so much was offered at each. When it came down to choosing a new home for Mom, the decision was easy as The Circle Inn at Peace Village seemed like a great fit for her. I was impressed with The Circle Inn and all that was offered for Mom: the activities, the medical care, the large living and recreational spaces, the cleanliness of The Circle Inn and much more. Mom even had a chance to “try out” The Circle Inn when she had a respite stay. Mom enjoyed that stay and when she was ready to move to assisted living, she wanted to move to The Circle Inn.Mom really enjoyed the time she spent at The Circle Inn. Mom loved the crafts, games (especially bingo) and all the different activities. Mom also loved the great food offered in the dining room and the friends she made. Mom also loved the staff at The Circle Inn as well. When I visited Mom she never stopped talking about the wonderful time she was having, and from my visits, I could feel the love and care everyone at The Circle Inn provided for not only my Mom, but also all of the residents. I am very thankful for all of the staff at The Circle Inn.My family hoped that mom would have been able to live at The Circle Inn for much longer than she did, but the time she spent there was terrific for her. Everyone at Peace Village and The Circle Inn has our deep appreciation for all they did for Mom, whether serving in the dining room, creating activities, doing medical checks, or a friendly greeting at the front desk.

My mom lived at Peace Village a little over a year before she was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. But the year my mom lived there was absolutely fantastic ! All the staff knew my mom's name and really cared for her. I knew she was loved there and taken care of! My mom became more social than she had been in years. She met new friends and really enjoyed every moment there. I wished we had moved her in sooner. Peace Village also took the time to get to know me and I always felt so welcome. Peace Village is just a wonderful place to live!

My parents lived in an apartment at Peace Village for over three years. They enjoyed the apartment layout, buildings, condition of facilities, food, activities and the pleasant highly-trained staff. They had done their comparison shopping and glad they made their choice. First class. After my father died, my mother entered the Peace Village Circle Inn for memory care. She was hesitant to go in, but the caring staff soon won her over and she felt part of the warm community of residents. Again the food was excellent, got to know the other residents and feel part of the group. The activities and ambiance gave her a high quality of life. We eventually moved my mother to be closer to us in California and the bar was set high for us to find an equivalent level of service.Bravo Peace Village - you brought my parents such joy and caring.

My Mom lived in Independent Living for over 7 years. She loved her time there and enjoyed having dinner with friends every night! She exercised every day in the staffed Exercise Room, loved visiting the Library and participated in some of the many scheduled events and activities. It was comforting to us that she was being checked on and had people around her that knew her and cared about her. As a family, we truly enjoyed Peace Village as well. We often went and had lunch with her in the Bistro / Dining Room and visited in the Common Areas when we had a larger group. She received great care when she had to go to Assisted Living and eventually Memory Care. The CNA's and staff were kind and caring and truly saw to the needs of my Mom.

Peace Village is not good! Beware and DO NOT use if you care about your loved ones. True story! I was at Peace Village. They took me in and could not provide the care I needed, but took the money. Watch out for your loved ones. Since they could not provide the care they said they could, Peace Village sent me to Palos Hospital 3x instead because they could not provide the services I needed. Upon my 3rd return from Palos Hospital, Peace Village turned me away. They did not allow me to come back in the building at all. This caused me a patient to be homeless. The head of Peace Village said, "it's within our legal right to do this." Quote from May 2021.

My mother lived in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care during her six years there. The staff is professional, caring and kind. They treat each resident like family. The facilities and grounds are immaculate and beautifully decorated for each season. I highly recommend Peace Village!

My parents moved in to Peace Village two years ago. They love the place. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well maintained facilities. And, prior to Covid, they were so happy to be able to socialize and participate in a variety of activities.
