I’m here at Jays Auto Body in Palos Heights and the people are so very nice. I’m having a very good experience. They do great body work so yeah I was very much satisfied and the price is very reasonable very reasonable.

The entire staff was a joy to work with. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work they performed. They did bodywork on my S63 front quarter panel and rear trunk panel-including paint. I was so impressed that I had them paint my front and back bumpers. It looked factory new! I would highly recommend them for any body and/or paint work you need for your vehicle. Well done!

So I came to this auto body shop years ago when it was at a different location and a different owner. At that time really reasonable prices and wonderful work. Recently I was the victim of a hit and run.
Damage thankfully was minimal so I went to some auto shops for estimates. I took my vehicle to jays. Technicians and bookkeeper all came out pointed at the three points of impact. Everyone said oh not that bad we can fix it. Said i would recive a call later with the estimate. I received an estimate from jays on Tuesday in the amount of 440.00.
I scheduled to bring my vehicle last Friday.
I dropped my car off as promised on Friday at 2 pm. Was told by office and mechanic
It would be done in a day or two. Now I realize it was the holiday weekend so I expected to hear something late Saturday on the progress. Received no call. Called in on Monday and was told they were closed to call back the next day which I did. Now my first mistake was not getting the estimate given in writing. When I called on Tuesday I was told the vehicle wasnt ready and that they noticed damage on my quarter panel
Which I explained was noted the two times it was looked at none the less I was argued with that it was not included in the original estimate which she didnt even remember what was originally quoted. She said i said 500 right i was like no it was actually 440.00. She responded the price would now be 1,057.00! I Argued that wasnt what was agreed upon. The response was well we already started the work. After going back and forth about the situation was told she could lower it to 900.00. Still upset but feeling like I didnt have a choice in the matter. They made decisions and changed pricing without notifying me. I then asked when I could come get my car. Remember originally I was told a day or two. She says it should be done by Thursday. Again I was extremely upset I had no way around or to work for yet another day! A voice from the back claimed it would be ready by today weds. Havent been there yet. Just wanted to warn anyone going to this establishment to get estimates in writing!! This seemed alot like a bait and switch. Told one thing then switched after work has started. To go from 440 to 900. This is not a way to do business.

If you’re looking for great service this is the shop to go to. Great customer service the owner are very respectful and offer fair prices for individuals on a budget. I have been bringing my car here for years and they are very considered on the time that you need the service to be finished by.
