“This is my favorite Jewel. Prior to living in Palos I lived in New Lenox and shopped at Nelson road, Rt 30 and Lagrange, Tinley on 171st, etc and this store has the hardest working and kindest employees I've ever dealt with. They have alot of long term employees and they really have job pride. I sure hope they are taken care of. Food is up to the usual Jewel standards. Store is clean and bright with large aisles. Keep up the good work guys!!! I hope you know how much you are appreciated!!”

“I was just there for my 62nd birthday and I invited invited my friends and family to celebrate it with me and they all enjoy and love this place. They said the food was excellent but the drinks was a little pricey but everything else the atmosphere the waitress everybody was amazing and they made my birthday very special and thank you chug-a-lug for allowing me to have my birthday party there.”

“Came here for some dairy products from behind the deli counter, when I got home 5 minutes later. I opened the pack & the cheese was bad, sour. Tasted like the cheese spent a whole day at room temperature before getting refrigerated.Besides this mishandling of food, service is good & cashiers are nice.”

“It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.”

“I had a party on July 8, 2023 and I ordered 96 pieces of 1/2 grilled and 1/2 fried chicken with sides of coleslaw, pasta salad, and the fried potato pieces. I just wanted to let everyone know that is was absolutely outstanding! The guests could not say enough about how delicious it all was. They all wanted to know where I ordered from and they just were raving about how excellent it was! Thank you for a excellent meal that everyone enjoyed! We will definitely order again soon!”

A great experience and would welcome those $5 off coupons on an order of $25 or more that came out when they had the grand opening after moving across the street. I miss the old location but I am used to the new place now and the store is too great to not shop there because they moved across the street.”

“Store is nice, and close for me to take mom. But I have to mention the checkout area. Very narrow and short area by checkout and difficult get by to get to other aisles and hard to check out during busy times. Large self check was empty.”
