Went here to fill a prescription because the other Walgreens in palatine was taking 5 days to fill a common medication, and giving me the run around. Tricia the pharmacist at this location filled it in 5 mins for me!

Got my COVID shot here in October 2023. I always get my flu shots at my doctor's office and got all my prior COVID shots and boosters at Cook County Public Health, but they aren't doing COVID shots anymore, so I had to make an appointment at a Walgreens. I get a lot of prescriptions filled, and over the years I've seen lots of crabby people waiting forever for shots, which is why I always got my shots elsewhere. So I was expecting a horrible experience. But that's not what I got at all.Making the appointment was super easy with the app , which I use frequently, since again, a lot of prescriptions.... And because of a lot going on in my personal life, I had to reschedule the appointment twice, which was also easy to do in the app. However due to tragic distractions, I showed up for my appointment three days late. When I realized my mistake, I was able to make another appointment for later that afternoon, and was literally in and out of there within 5 minutes. And they were so kind about my missed appointment. I really appreciate the kindness, compassion, and professionalism, and will come back here for all my yearly immunizations from now on.

Walgreens Pharmacy is like playing roulette. 50% of the time you're happy, sometimes even thrilled. The other 50% of the time, you're frustrated by another hassle (prescription card declined), maybe even disgusted with what should be the core of their business: getting a prescription filled in a timely manner. When we request a refill sometimes it's straightforward and no issues, then the other half of the time it takes days to process, and isn't even started until shortly before it was requested to be filled, and then delayed. 1/2 of the time, our express pay (which hasn't changed) fails to process in the app, 1/2 the time it does and we're done in 2 minutes.Just today, we booked a COVID booster for myself and my wife. When we arrived, we had to wait 10 minutes to be handled. When it was our turn, we were informed that they didn't have our appointment (even though I had a confirmation code). After 10 more minutes, the pharmacist found my appointment, but not that it was for 2 of us, saying it was a glitch in their system and they couldn't help us.Somehow the house always wins with Walgreens - they have my medicine and I need to put up with 50% success. Yet, somehow I'm more unhappy than happy. Time to take my business elsewhere.

If I could, I would rate this pharmacy location as a 0. There were patients, myself included, who had to wait well over their appointment time to get their vaccinations. None of the employees gave us a reason for postponing or even apologized for the delay. They were too busy talking amongst themselves than taking care of their patrons. If you need your vaccinations, do not come to this location!

Stay away from the Walgreens on NW Highway in Palatine. I ordered photos there, they cancelled part of the order, I ordered online, they canceled the wrong part of the order. The manager called me and then didn't honor a commitment she made on the phone. Terrible customer service all around. I ordered online after the cancelletions and the quality is really poor. Not the first problem I've had with them but very aggravating. Done with them.

Night manager Stefan is beyond ridiculous. I do online sales and use this Walgreens as my fed ex drop point. I drop probably 20-30 packages a week across all days. Never an issue. Whenever it’s Stefan he insists I take it to usps. FedEx smart posts are not to be taken to usps. They are to be take. To fed ex or a drop point so tracking can be accurate on the selling platform. He insists I take it to usps. He is flat out wrong. Then gets aggressive and argues about it. I literally do this for a living. Fed ex smart posts that go straight to post office don’t update the same and I have learned the hard way yet I have to argue with this guy just for him to scan the package. I get you are short staffed and maybe can be a hassle but to flat out be wrong and then argue about it is unacceptable. He then mumbles and yells as you walk away. Why would you be a FedEx drop point of I should be taking them to usps? Seriously? I complained to the gm the first time then it happens again with the same guy. A location of a multi billion dollar corporation that is less than 20 miles from their world head quarters operating at 2.6 customer satisfaction rate would be a huge overall concern for me if I were management.

There are three windows at the Pharmacy. Two marked "drop off/pick up." One marked "consultation." And yet customers with a multitude of questions repeatedly get in the "drop of/ pick up". lines to consult with the pharmacists. Meanwhile the line for "drop off/ pick" up grows longer and longer.. The pharmacist should redirect these people to the other window. Not to mention the pharmacist also trying to mange the people there for vaccinations Yesterday a woman spent 30 minutes asking a dozen different questions. She even said at one point " I should probably see my doctor about these items,". Duh! I don't really care that much about the delay as much as I don't appreciate standing in a line with people coughing and sneezing.

Shout out to Rose in the Pharmacy department!! She literally located my meds, which happened to be on back order, was able to call and give me the info and saved me SO MUCH trouble and worry for the day! It's diligent and dedicated workers like Rose that keep me as a happy Walgreens customer. Please give this nice lady recognition for her hard work! It shouldn't go unnoticed Thanks Rose! Stay safe and be well!!

The people here are very nice. Aisles are always clean, neat and organized. Bigger than the Walgreens I normally go to.

Came i tonight for late night beer run and cashier mike was amazing but there was line and he called iC3 A couple times and got ignored no one came up to help with the line but Mike powered through it was upsetting to see this because I used to work for Walgreens many moons ago and never ounce have that happened during my time at Walgreens wishing that the other staff members would have responded to cashier mike when he called it didn't look personal in any way. Thank you mike for being awesome and powering though the line and kicking a** and taking names XD

REVIEW DATE - 04/05/2008 Very rapid prescription fill service. Pharmacy staff works to create an interpersonal relationship instead of a medical provider relationship. Inside the store prices are very reasonable and convenient locations prove Walgreens to be a great multi-purpose store. Reason for repost - Account Transfer & Close (ATAC)
