Found some treasures here, including a great microwave oven! Good selection of greeting cards. Their inventory changes from time to time. The staff is very friendly!

I absolutely love this place. You can visit regularly and always find wonderful things, such as furniture, clothes and so much more. Many thanks to the wonderful crew that’s always so polite and pleasant: Erna, Mona, Daniela, who are always so amazing and sweet !

Our store's purpose is to support the mission of Home of the Sparrow, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides housing and services to homeless women and children in McHenry County and Northern Illinois. 100% of the net proceeds from the store directly supports the clients in Home of the Sparrow programs. The Sparrow's Nest is also a zero cost provider of clothing, furniture and housewares to H.O.S. clients and clients of other agencies in Northern Illinois.
