I took my pets here for over a decade before moving away—have seen Dr Janssen and Dr Luttrell many times each, both are kind, understanding and clearly care deeply for animals in their care. I never feel like they are rushing, and when there is need of a follow up call they make the call themselves, are patient and answer any questions I have. Both are also very willing to give price estimates and alternate options.

I really like this vet clinic. Came here for a checkup and everyone was super kind and thoughtful. The professional attitude the doctor and staff showed really made me feel welcomed and in good hands. They take the health of your pet very seriously, and they make sure to get all the details about your pet.
They are very transparent about the services they are performing, and prices for the services here are very good and quite competitive! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and would recommend this clinic to others.

Would not take your pets here. They demand money, and the receptionist is BEYOND rude. Please take your pets elsewhere.

Dr. Luttrell and Dr. Janssen have been seeing my 12 year old Labrador Retriever mix for his entire time with us (we adopted him from Chicagoland Lab Rescue when he was about 1-1/2 years old). Buff is challenging because he came from a breeder that was not an ideal situation--he had been abused physically, shot at and had heartworm when we first brought him to Dr. Luttrell. Since that time, Buff has bonded with these 2 wonderful veterinarians (he is especially fond of Dr. Heather Janssen and her Lean Treats, which Buff gets every time we go for an office visit :) Buff has had a couple of surgeries for lipomas, dental cleanings, physicals (including blood draws), nail trims and vaccinations with PAH. The staff is really wonderful at making the effort to understand Buff, his personality and his needs. We have moved an hour away from Palatine last year but I still make the drive to Palatine whenever Buff needs medical attention. I HIGHLY recommend Palatine Animal Hospital for you pet's needs--they are compassionate, knowledgeable and professional.

Absolutely horrible place of business!!! They will check the microchip of a missing animal brought in but then won’t give information to the owners of where or who has that animal! So disheartening and the male vet is extremely rude.Also come to find out when they scanned the missing pet they told the person who brought the cat in “ what would you like to do, we don’t need to report it” I’m sorry but reporting a missing microchipped animal is illegal!

I have been going to PAH since 1987 and love the staff and all veterinarians I have encountered while there. I believe I have seen five vets over this time period. I have never had a complaint. The doctors are professional and very knowledgeable and caring. The staff has always been helpful and caring. I would give them ten stars if it went that high. They have taken care of 9/10 of my fur babies and they have all done extremely well. I would never go elsewhere. I highly recommend the caring and competent staff and vets at Palatine Animal Hospital.

I’ve had both of my French Bulldogs spayed here at Palatine Animal Hospital. Dr.Luttrell and staff went above and beyond for me. If you are looking for a reliable Veterinarian to have your dog spayed or neutered, I highly recommend Palatine Animal Hospital. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to numerous other Veterinarians I researched in the area and are they are very knowledgeable.
