They keep auto-texting asking for a review, and that's about the only communication I've received from this dealer. Beware.
The negotiation process was easy! Tristan, my sales rep, was kind and considerate. We went for a test drive, and I like to think I was an easy sell -- I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. Everything was great until we shook on the deal... Then it was just me and the lovely popcorn... for almost an hour. Tristan went and chatted with his colleagues about the game and holiday weekend (after telling me I was the only person buying at the moment and the finance guy would be ready for me quickly). If they sold a car, they got to go home early... It certainly felt like they were already checked out.
After passing the time alone and listening to other customers argue about a car that went up in price, I was about ready to walk. Then I got to go talk to finance.
Finance, sadly, met my expectations. We went back over everything I had already declined with Tristan in hopes that I would understand the need for gap coverage and oil changes, exclusive from a dealership more than an hour away from my home. I signed a bunch of paperwork on an iPad and was given a flash drive as a souvenir. "Welcome to the McGrath family!"
Fast forward 27 days, and the bank sent me a letter that they couldn't title the car because the State didn't have paperwork ready. I then called the State, and after waiting an hour on hold, they told me the dealer hadn't sent in the paperwork for that VIN number and to contact the dealer. Believe me: I've tried.
I received exactly one response from my sales rep by text that he would look into it, and then everyone has gone silent. In the last month, I've contacted Tristan (Sales Rep), Gigi (phone), Eric (phone), Dmytro (who reached out to see if everything went well and then didn't reply when it didn't go well), Eric (phone), Ronnie (Finance), and Rani (Finance Manager)... they've all ghosted me for over a month on a registration question. No one will return my voicemails or emails, and that's the customer service you can expect. I'd drive over there in my new Kia, but I don't feel like wasting three hours on the road for more popcorn.
It wasn't until I called Kia Corporate that I got a response from Kia... and still, no title, no plates, and no response from the dealer.
In my experience, your relationship with McGrath ends when you shake hands. Thank goodness I didn't purchase any add-ons or service contracts because, frankly, they can't even return a phone call, text, or email.

The service here is awesome. Great people. Nice cars. Very friendly. Tristan was a very inviting individual, who I can tell he means good business. Anyway, I left happy with a BRAND NEW CAR! ?

I recently explored the option of trading in my car for a new KIA Sportage. I had the pleasure of working with a salesperson named "T," who was incredibly helpful and provided me with all the necessary information regarding the differences in the KIA trims, which greatly simplified my decision-making process. I would certainly recommend visiting this dealership if you're considering purchasing a new KIA.

THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP WHEN IT COMES TO CAR SERVICE IN THE AREA.
WHOLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY CAR!
I HAD MY CAR TOWED HERE AND THEY REPLACED THE WATER PUMP& BELT AND A UNNECESSARY COOLANT FLUSH. BUT THE KICKER IS THEY LIED AND SAID THEY PUT COOLANT AND MY CAR WAS BONE DRY!!
BEFORE I LEFT THIS CROCK OF A DEALER THEY KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG (the check engine light was on and they told me it was a random misfire?) AND STILL LET ME LEAVE WITH THE CAR LIKE THIS. YES THE CAR RAN 40 MIN WITH NO ISSUE UNTIL I STOPPED AND THE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE SO BAD I HAD TO PULL IN A GAS STATION TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY MY CAR WAS STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE I BROUGHT IT IN FOR. THERE WAS NO FREAKING COOLANT AND NO IT WASN’T LEAKING. THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEY CAUSE MY HEAD GASKET TO BLOW BECAUSE THEY DID THE FLUSH WITHOUT FULLY CHECKING THE CAR.
COME TO FIND OUT THE THERMOSTAT NEED TO BE REPLACED . ONCE ALL THAT COOLANT I PUT AND SUPPOSEDLY ?WHAT THEY PUT IN STARTED TO CIRCULATE IT GOT INTO MY MOTOR !
I WONT GO INTO THE REST BUT THE REFUSE TO FOX MY VEHICLE AND WAS CALLED A LIAR BY THE SMART-MOUTH TIGHT BIGOT THAT CAME OUT THERE.

I was having a fine experience with the sales person and was close to finalizing a deal when the Manager stepped in on the final details of the numbers and gave false information about interest that would be charged and tacked on an additional fee for outside financing (which we disclosed early on). He then spoke to me very condescendingly and pulled the quote sheet away from me, so we walked out. I refuse to do business with a shady business, which I believe this is. They tried to charge “sales tax” on registration and licensing fees and then gave blatantly wrong information about interest charges for financing with them. Buyer beware.
