Download the Jewel app & you’ll save so much money that way. I was supposed to pay $36 after tax for fruits but I ended up paying $12 when I put in my phone number ? I also work for UberEats, & I genuinely enjoy shopping at all Jewels for the customers. They also have a liquor corner that people order drinks from often. It lets me know in what aisle and section of the store the items are. They keep it very simple when other stores like to complicate things for the shopper on the app. They have organic fruits and vegetables for an affordable price even for the customers that dont use the app. Just remember to put in your phone number at the register. The overall user experience on the app is fast and awesome, it was coded well and responds much faster compared to some apps I use. You can stack the deals, keep track of your receipts and then preorder items to pick up or get it delivered. It makes me want to constantly do repeat business. Its really cool and what you need in todays grocery store corporate-wise to keep up. Also the employees are very helpful, all you have to do is be respectful and thank them for helping you and they’re really nice back. Any time I need help finding something they stop what they’re doing right away and help me with a smile, I’m not even kidding. They stock items frequently throughout the day so there’s workers almost every where I look. I’m honestly so impressed with Jewel that I had to write this detailed review.Did I mention download the Jewel app? Because download the Jewel app.

Had a older gentlemen in his 50's/60's maybe? follow me around the store after looking for some apples and maybe a redbull. I use jewel daily but not this location. Felt extremely uncomfortable. He grabbed my arm and scolded me for using the bathroom while shopping. I brushed it off and kept shopping after words but he kept following me and making rude comments. Saying he's watching Me ? and he knows my kind? I finally had enough and said sir please leave me alone good day. And he shouted this man in drunk call the cops. I checked out my items and watched this man shouting and recording me while his coworkers stared at him doing nothing must be a normal thing here. Definitely never coming back. This was kinda comical not sure if he really thought I was drunk or stealing but I stayed around to talk to management or customer service but they werent anywhere to be found so i checked out and walked to my car. The worker followed me to my car with a camera and said I'll get you. As he was screaming call the cops. Bizarre store. If I was a woman I'd feel terrified ?. I love jewel so I'll just skip this location due to scary employees stalking. Please people heed my warning ⚠️ this store isn't family friendly man has a potty mouth.

While Jewel consistently has a wide selection of items and solid deals, especially if you pay attention and use the app, what really stands out to me, and makes a shopping experience memorable and pleasant, is the staff. The staff at a store are the face of the store, and the variable that stand out many customers the most. Whether I bought toothpaste, cereal, soup, or produce, it is the people helping me find items, greeting me, helping me check out, making friendly small talk, etc are what I remember most about my shopping trips. That said, I would like to give a special shout out to a consistently positive and outstanding member of this staff, and someone that the store, and the members of the community that shop here should be thankful to have as part of the Palatine Jewel team, Keith. In the 4 years that I've been coming here, Keith has consistently been a positive staple of my shopping experiences here at Jewel. His positive and calm demeanor always puts myself and other regular customers at ease, and there have been many times that I have seen him keep his cool, act professionally and tactfully in the face of adversity. Whether it be a rude customer, the POS systems going down, getting pulled in many directions from customers, fellow staff, etc., Keith always seems to be one step ahead of the game and is able to prioritize and effectively address any problems or impending tasks at hand. Not only have I seen him work with extreme proficiency, but he always seems able to do so with a smile on his face and a positive attitude that clearly has a contagiously positive effect on those around him, including employees and customers alike. I am always happy going into this Jewel and seeing Keith working because whether I've had a bad day, good day or need help with something, I know that Keith is consistent in that he will be a positive note in my experience. An additional shout-out to Mike, Pat, Heike, Jan, Billy, John, Dan & Andi for always being positive and helpful as well. Thanks to the team at Palatine Jewel for being more than just employees at a grocery store, but for being solid members of our community here in Palatine. Y'all are great!

The staff is genuinely the best and they are all so nice. The cashiers always ask if I found everything I needed, and if I didn’t they try and remedy it.

This is honestly the worst jewel. The produce section is very inconsistent and very dirty. I don’t think they ever clean those coolers where veggies are at. Watch the expiration dates! I constantly see stuff in the cold section that is expired. The meat coolers where they have all the raw meet are not cold enough. The chicken and pork are not stored at proper temps. Several times I had to throw out meat bc it smelled.Good spot if you need a few things but entire groceries for the week skip it.

We sometimes go to our local Jewel in Schaumburg, where my wife likes to get sushi from the deli. We just happened to be in this area, and she got some sushi. While we were driving home, she opened it to eat, and it had a really strong, unpleasant odor. More, there was no labeling about when it was packed. We generally have fine experiences with Jewel, but this was not one of them.

Ha and Nancy saved the day by putting together gorgeous floral arrangements for our grandmothers celebration of life event. Thanks so much for the beautiful work you did and your kindness

This pertains to Jewels reward program which sucks! By the time you get an award or two they expire!! Hard to accumulate anything. They really need to revisit this joke of a program! Also, pay careful attention to the clipped rewards and sale items as they sometimes miss taking it off your bill!

It doesn't matter what jewel I go to all the employees have the same attitude either they hate their jobs or they have no idea what's going on
