This has to be the worse run deli in all Jewel's in the area. If you ever want to get fresh fried chicken don't even think about going after 5 pm at the Plum Grove location. I have attempted several Mondays no dice I take it Cheap Chicken Monday is only before 5pm. I have tried almost every day of the week and the same issue. It used to not be this way. This has been going on for months now, store manager must not care. I spoke with a deli manager at another Jewel and he told me it's the deli being lazy and not wanting to work so they can do dishes early. Who eats dinner around 5, who wants to buy fried chicken at 5 and keep it hours until dinner kind of defeats the fried part. I live less than three blocks away but yet have to go to another location every time i want chicken.

Had great experience yesterday. I had a mix up at the cash register. Keith at Customer Service was really nice and understanding and quickly fixed my issue. Typically I shop at this location most often but go to other locations as well. Want to express my big Thank You to Keith and management for a well run Jewel store.

Anyone complaining about how they can't get the right pricing for something have obviously never used self Price scanners that are in the aisles hanging on a pillar. Just put the bar code under it and it gives you the price. Quit being an old person and use technology that's available to you. You don't need an actual person anymore for most things especially self checkout.

If you ask very nicely a simple question the Cashier (Some bitter lady wearing black sunglasses inside at register 3) seems not happy and gave us a bad time with a side of bad attitude. She obviously has her issues.

Cashiers just now on July 22nd 2024 @ 2:54 pm didn't even look at me...never said a word...no hi...nothing. Maybe my U.S.A. shirt (didn't seem to patriotic) turned them off ? It's really bad when these millennial's cannot even converse on the lowest level. This is America remember, we are suppose to unite correct. I will never ever shop here again. This is the 100% truth ! Pathetic ! PS: There sales were pretty good.

I recently started shopping at Jewel again after moving to the neighborhood. While ALDIs advertises lower prices, Jewel has some great deals IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE APP. It was annoying and confusing at first. I’m sure anyone over 40 years old will not be able to use it.
Service here is always professional. From the deli which seems understaffed at times to the check out line, they are always polite and considerate.

Lady in the floral department was very unwelcoming and unprofessional and rude when trying to place a floral order for my son’s prom! Will do to the other jewel on Dundee and Hicks! She told me I needed to go to a florists for lilies!!

Download the Jewel app & you’ll save so much money that way. I was supposed to pay $36 after tax for fruits but I ended up paying $12 when I put in my phone number ? I also work for UberEats, & I genuinely enjoy shopping at all Jewels for the customers. They also have a liquor corner that people order drinks from often. It lets me know in what aisle and section of the store the items are. They keep it very simple when other stores like to complicate things for the shopper on the app. They have organic fruits and vegetables for an affordable price even for the customers that dont use the app. Just remember to put in your phone number at the register. The overall user experience on the app is fast and awesome, it was coded well and responds much faster compared to some apps I use. You can stack the deals, keep track of your receipts and then preorder items to pick up or get it delivered. It makes me want to constantly do repeat business. Its really cool and what you need in todays grocery store corporate-wise to keep up. Also the employees are very helpful, all you have to do is be respectful and thank them for helping you and they’re really nice back. Any time I need help finding something they stop what they’re doing right away and help me with a smile, I’m not even kidding. They stock items frequently throughout the day so there’s workers almost every where I look. I’m honestly so impressed with Jewel that I had to write this detailed review.Did I mention download the Jewel app? Because download the Jewel app.

Had a older gentlemen in his 50's/60's maybe? follow me around the store after looking for some apples and maybe a redbull. I use jewel daily but not this location. Felt extremely uncomfortable. He grabbed my arm and scolded me for using the bathroom while shopping. I brushed it off and kept shopping after words but he kept following me and making rude comments. Saying he's watching Me ? and he knows my kind? I finally had enough and said sir please leave me alone good day. And he shouted this man in drunk call the cops. I checked out my items and watched this man shouting and recording me while his coworkers stared at him doing nothing must be a normal thing here. Definitely never coming back. This was kinda comical not sure if he really thought I was drunk or stealing but I stayed around to talk to management or customer service but they werent anywhere to be found so i checked out and walked to my car. The worker followed me to my car with a camera and said I'll get you. As he was screaming call the cops. Bizarre store. If I was a woman I'd feel terrified ?. I love jewel so I'll just skip this location due to scary employees stalking. Please people heed my warning ⚠️ this store isn't family friendly man has a potty mouth.
