I had horrible customer service at this place. Asking the staff some questions they gave me an attitude for no reason. Then the manager also were rude when i was telling him that the price they charged me was incorrect according to their tags. I will never get back to this place. If you are tired and dont want to do your job right, just don't work there. Im a customer and paying money to your store. Would be nice to receive a good attitute from the staff there.

I'm on several prescriptions, Ellen and Ann, pharmacists are very professional, friendly, and care about my health and keep me up on my vaccines. I switched to them from Walgreens 2 years ago. I highly recommend Osco in Palatine on Dundee Rd.

Poor management!! Wasted phone calls and trips to the store looking for a price for a large fruit order for a local week long vacation bible school. Kept getting the run around, nobody knew what they were doing. Kids ended up with no fresh fruit. Also tried the other jewel in palatine and same experience. Shame jewel doesn't have more adapt management, especially for their prices on groceries.

Kudos to John (Jewel staff at the Dundee Rd and Hicks Rd in Palatine) who was off the clock and at the self check out at the same time I was. He noticed my broken foot and asked if he could help me. I said no thanks and went about my check out but then the ground beef (from the butcher shop) I was ringing up did not reflect the sale price. I told the young man working the area and he went to the butcher and said he didn't see meat for 4.49 a lb. so I said I am going to go check myself and John sprung in to action and went with me. Chris at the butcher shop (was also very nice and apologetic) corrected the price and I thanked them. John said, "it's all about the customer experience and he was happy to help". John going above and beyond was truly a great customer experience! I will also post on Yelp and mail a letter to the store manager. Thank you, Karen K

Very nice store. It's really big so even if there is alot of people it doesn't feel crowded. Employees have been very nice all the times I have went there. I like that they have self checkout but also have lines open with cashiers. Store was very clean to!

I remember that I need to buy my groceries and it is a good thing that I was on the way home and I stopped by at the nearest grocery store and went here in Jewel. Quite a few people are only inside. The store is clean and bright. First thing I noticed is that most of their items are on sale that sounds nice. Jewel is a pricier than the others so the sales on every item is a good thing. Selections are organized. There are few items that are not on stock but on most items it is well-stocked. Everything that I needed is available. Most importantly, they have a huge selection of frozen pizza and I love pizza. It is easy and convenient each time I wanted to eat one. I was in the checkout and the staff is nice and friendly. Different but nice experience in the store and I just hope that this will continue.

Every time I shop at this Jewel I cannot buy any produce because it's always old. Every other store always carries butternut squash. They never do and when I asked they said oh that's only something we have in the fall.

This Jewel is pretty well run and I've been shopping here for almost 20 years. It is clean and usually has what I am looking for on the shelves. It can get crowded at times but they keep the check-out lanes running pretty smoothly. Many of the employees have been there for a long time as well and they seem to be fairly cheerful when you deal with them. I know many people yam and complain about Jewel in general, but it is what it is. A local grocery store that sells food and other items we all need. Of all the local Jewels, this one is the most efficient and pleasant to shop at.

Someone should teach them what a real bagel is. They make round bread. Who needs a 5 oz. 4 1/2" "Bagel?" Wrong dough, never boiled, just make donut bread.

Every time I call or go here to pick up a prescription, there is an issue between the pharmacist and my doctor. It’s ridiculous. They can’t get things figured out. 1 star for not being able to figure stuff out jewel Pharma

What no Swedish Flop? Second time not available. Asked bakery staff if it was available and was told it would be "over there" if they had it. I said I looked there and there was none. Was told they probably didn't have the dough for it!!! And why are there no eclairs? Sad bakery department. I'll go to Butera or Sunset or Marianos next time.
