I had a great experience at Hyundai of Palatine on 3/23/22 where I bought a car I wasn't expecting!
The days leading up to the purchase I had great communication with Dean, my salesman for this experience. He was very prompt, polite and listened to me. It also didn't hurt that he's a car guy, which I am as well, so that made things even better!
Once I got there we talked about the deal and got the paperwork started, everything was going great and when I went to check out the car "I thought" I was getting I apparently misunderstood the description of the color...I was bummed out but that was on me. Dean worked to find the exact vehicle I wanted but none were around, even tried a different color but I didn't want that, here's where the story gets good!!
During the entire time I was looking at a brand new Elantra N right outside his window, admiring it from a distance. When I found out the other car wasn't available Dean and I went out to look at the Elantra N. I asked Dean about the car and he immediately told me how much more car I was getting for the money...and he was RIGHT! Dean insisted we take it for a ride...THAT WAS IT!
Dean, Michael and the guys who prepped the car made sure everything was right, staying past business hours to get the job done. I left the dealership very happy, even though the weather sucked.
A bad experience at another Hyundai dealership brought me directly here and in less than a week, I'm driving out in an even better car than I thought...AND it was brand new AND was given more money for my car than the other dealership was offering.

Dana was absolutely the best. I had my Tucson in for an issue with the transmission and because it was using a lot of oil. Everything was checked out thoroughly and she kept in touch with me via text and call. Best service advisor I have ever worked with!

Both David Pacheco and Jason from service were absolutely wonderful to me in my purchase of a used VW Tiguan. When the check engine light came on 24 hours after purchase they not only arranged a loaner car for me, they kept my car until they knew it was in safe and great condition. I would definitely come back to this dealership when it's time to upgrade myself to an even newer car. All around incredibly positive experience. 10/10 recommend them for your new, certified used, or used car needs.

I purchased a Tucson Hybrid with cash in June. The finance manager told me I would receive the title within a week, but I have not received it yet. I've been trying to contact them for a month with no response. I'm leaving this review in the hopes of finally getting my title. I want to receive it as soon as possible.
Update 07/30/24
I still haven't received the title, and I emailed the address provided in the 'Response from Hyundai,' but I haven't received any reply.

No wait to check in, they knew why I was there, waiting room was clean with access to work, told it would take 90 minutes and 90 minutes later I had my freshly washed car back and ready to go.

Review of My Used 2023 Hyundai Santafe from Hyundai of Palatine Leader Dealership I recently purchased a 2023 Hyundai Santafe from Leader Dealership, and my experience has been a mix of positive and negative aspects.
**Buying Experience**
The buying experience was fairly straightforward. I saw the vehicle, test drove it and liked it, However, I did feel a bit pressured from Sales person (BM) to close the deal quickly, which made me slightly uncomfortable. , which I found frustrating. Since i was not happy with price offered. He offered me an option for car accessories as a complementary to match the price i asked for . To which i requested him a All season mat and roof rails, which he agreed to it. since its my first car buying experience in the country , i was unaware of the tricks used by this sales person and i trusted his words, went ahead and signed the documents. Later i tried reaching him multiple times he never responded to my calls and didn't try to call me back. When i discussed with other sales person regarding this, they asked me a fair question, is it written in document ? It was really a bad shopping experience for me with the sales person and it should not be encouraged. I doesn't give me a good reason to recommend it to my work colleagues or friends. I feel cheated on this and my trust is completely lost with Hyundai. Since it was already late when i purchased the car, He did not spend any time explaining me the features and later never setup a appointment to get it sorted.
**Vehicle Condition and Performance**
When I first saw the car, it looked great. On the test drive, the car handled well, and I was impressed with its smooth acceleration and quiet ride. However, after a day I noticed a warning in the dashboard for Oil change . When I contacted the dealership, they were quick to schedule a service appointment on August and replaced the oil under dealership cost without any hassle as the change date was before the car purchased date. **Post-Purchase Experience** After the purchase, there was no dealership's follow-up. They never checked in to ensure whether I was satisfied with the car .
**Overall Satisfaction and Recommendation**
Overall, I am satisfied with my car Hyndai Santafe. It meets all my needs in terms of comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency. but I would not recommend Hyundai Leader Dealership due to lack of trust and follow up .

Always above and beyond expectations. Car was done under time told, and they even wipe down my dashboard and yucky steering wheel. Kyle is the best when it comes to service people. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Purchased a used Honda CRV. Fair price, had and issue with the vehicle 2 days after leaving the dealer, called them back, they told me to drop off the vehicle and it was fixed a few days later.
Happy with the experience in general.
