This CVS Pharmacy in Palatine, Illinois on Smith and N.W. Hwy should be a ZERO!By far, the most chaotic, unorganized and incompetent Pharmacy I have ever seen. Continuous LOST Prescriptions, weeks of unfilled auto refills, wrong dosage and the list goes on.CVS Corporate does not care after numerous calls into them letting them know the major problems going on there. All the Pharmacist are FLOATERS and not permanent employees, then when they finally do hire a permanent Manager that person quits within a few weeks.I am running to switch all my prescriptions to another Pharmacy. I can no longer trust them with my medication refills.

My prescription that I requested to be delivered was cancelled with no explanation why and it is Imposible to get a hold of pharmacy over the phone tried multiple times and stayed on hold over 30mins, one time I called and after waiting a while they just hung up.

Called pharmacy at 8:30 pm. Was on hold for one half hour with no one picking up. Called on another line to front of store and was informed the pharmacy closed early with no explanation as to why. Furthermore was hung up on by front of store employee when asked to speak to manager. Will be transferring my prescriptions from this terrible store.

Sunil at CvS pharmacy helped my mother Noor Jehan alot today. He was very nice and understanding and went out of his way to help her figure out her prescription codes and got her prescription. Thank you Sunil !

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICIES!!! I recently purchased Cover Girl mascara for approximately $10 from this CVS. I opened it up to use, but the product smelled awful. Since I needed the mascara I held my nose and decided to give it a try and hope for the best, but the application was poor and the product was dried out. I decided it was a junk product and put it away to return once I was in the area again. One week later I went to get a refund for the defective product with my receipt in hand. The counter person seemed puzzled that I would return an opened product. She seemed to imply I was at fault rather than it was my right to return a defective product to CVS. She reprimanded me for having opened it and used it. I explained I'm only bothering to return it because the product was defective...and yes, I had to try it first to find that out. She then barked at me "WHERE'S THE BARCODE???" I explained I didn't know what she was talking about, but I had kept the receipt for the return...but now she said she wouldn't accept the mascara without this barcode which apparently is only to be found on the original package which was taken out with the garbage. I find it ironic that CVS gives you yards of unnecessary paper on their ridiculously long receipts....but not the necessary information for clerks to accept simple returns!!! She told me because I didn't have the original package (again it's all my fault) with the barcode she couldn't refund the mascara. Then she then looked up the closest CVS with that barcode in stock which was in Barrington. She told me I would need to drive to Barrington (40 minutes round trip plus store time...so another 1 hour out of my day at 7PM) to return my $10 mascara!!! She told me I better do it now while it was still in stock!!! Simply said...their Customer Services is nonexistent!!!

Awful awful pharmacy never have what I need -- never answer the phone - awful attitudes-- I wish my company didn't you have you as my preferred. I would NEVER use you what pharmacy doesn't have pain medication after surgery? And then won't transfer the prescription? You suck!

I am a person who would give 4 or 5 stars to a decent place but if i am giving 1 star that means the service was horrible and definitely the business should take action against that employee or fix the issue.I had 103 F fever and i order Oximeter and Infrared Thermometer for pick up at this location. When i reach this place, i called in to see if they offer curbside pickup (which usually most stores do these days) and the gentleman who answered the call said no i have to come in as he has to scan my order in order to give me. I told him the reason i am asking is coz i am sick and I don't want to infect anyone inside. But he asked me to come in. I walked in and i was 2nd in line and the gentleman i talked to is talking to guy in front of me for at least 5 mins and that too family stuff. Nothing related to business. He is asking you still remember me after so many years Blah blah Blah... i didn't have energy to stand and i am leaning on one of the shelves putting my head on it as i could have fallen down as i had no energy. This gentleman tool good 5 mins or so to chit chat with the guy in front of me. When my turn came, he said sorry for the wait l. And asked me whats the name of pick up and handed me over the bag. There was no scanning involved ( which he told me on the call) and i walked out. People like this should be cognizant of the others condition and prioritize things accordingly. I did get the name of this gentleman but my pickup was on 5.29pm on 08.24.2022. If not taking an action against him at least he should be trained properly handled situation.

Its your usual cvs nothing special nothing out of the box. I think cvs needs tk work a little more with their employees satisfaction. I think their employees are just over worked or exhausted. Every cvs I go to the employees are helpful but I just dont see them happy or smiling. Hopefully they will start something for employee satisfaction as well

Everytime I come here for picking medicine up, I have to wait at least 15 minutes even no one is waiting before me. Everyone says \\\"Wait a moment\\\". But everyone never comes back, I can't get medicines until other pharmacy staff come. They just don't wanna work.

If you're looking to become suicidal, I highly recommend using this "pharmacy ". You won't get answers, you won't get your prescriptions, you won't get any customer services at all, but what you will get is stress, a bunch of employees who do not care at all, a filthy store and dirty pharmacy area.

I had an appointment for covid booster. They had one pharmacist waiting on customers, filling prescriptions and checking people in for vaccine. When it was finally my time I was told it would take 10 minutes to defrost. So glad I made an appointment. Will never return to CVS

I have been to CVS pharmacy a few times for a covid test and the drive through service was really helpful. The pharmacists have been nice and explained how the process works. The plus point was not having to get out of your car so don't have to worry about getting exposed inside. The results sometimes took a while, about 4-7 days but that's understandable with the amount of people that get them done everyday. The pharmacist explains over the intercom how to perform a self swab and they watch you do it. There is also a disinfective wipe to use on the box to clean after you drop off the sample. The entire process takes 5-10 minutes. The only tip I have is to make appointments right at midnight when the new timings open up and they only show the next three days at a time. So that can be tricky to schedule because the locations fill up fast and then you set up a My Chart account online to view results after they email you.

This store is on the messy side, though the staff is friendly. The location is tricky to get out of when traffic gets busy.

Decent convenience store, they have most things that you would think to want really quick, for ok prices. It's also close to the house which is also a big perk. Get a free CVS card so you can take advantage of their discounts.

So I can't check out with a coupon from a previous receipt that states i have a reward account because your system cant find me. Obviously you dont need my business or money. Left my items and bought them elsewhere.
