Terrible service, they made me wait a long time and in the end they said they couldn’t change the oil. very disappointed I really regret visiting this place!!!

Incompetent at best...
This place has gone downhill over the years. I think it was better when John Sr. was running the place. I've been here many times as I used to bring all my cars here and the service was 'Mehh' but it was convenient. But convenience and good prices don't make my cars safe.
For me, the downward spirol started when I brought my van in for an anti-lock brake wheel speed sensor and told them what I thought it was. They told me they'd check it out, and afterwards said ‘Yup, that’s what it is…’ but that they didn't have the equipment to calibrate it, so I may as well go to the dealer, and they still wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee.
Next time was a brake job on my Jeep. When I picked it up and and pedal went to the floor, they had the gall to tell me 'New brakes do that...'. Yeah, they do... when you don't bleed the air out of the brake line! They reluctantly took it back to finish the job.
This last time was for a very slow leak in a tire. I know those are hard to find, but they tried 2x to fix it, and when I brought the tire back for the third time I asked them to change the valve stem, they basically blew me off & told me to go somewhere else. They also bald face Lied to me after the first try, telling me they pulled a small nail out and plugged it from the inside. Nonetheless, after they blew me off, I went to NTB and they fixed it right the first time. And there was no patch on the inside of the tire!
The desk manager , Mark was rude, and the owner John Jr., was the one who blew me off. Seems they only want to sell tires, and for any other service, they fake it as best they can.
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. Well I gave them a third try, and well...there won't be a forth.

Busch went *way* above what is normally expected of a business with my recent car repair.
We unexpectedly got a used car from a family member for my son to use for a summer internship. The car had not been driven in 4 years and we knew we wanted Busch to take a look to make any needed repairs and to make it safe for the drive back to Ohio
The car did not have any valid license plates or car registration so in the dark of night, we drove it from Glenview to Busch Auto and left it for them to begin the repairs. As always, they completely diagnosed what was needed and called us with the estimate for authorization to go ahead.
In the meantime, we found out that our family member had lost the title to the car. So while Busch was complete with their repairs, neither of us could drive it anywhere. So John Busch was kind enough to say that we could leave it there until we worked out the tedious replacement and new title, registration, and license issues
In addition, the car had a broken windshield. So they were fine with Safelite coming to Busch and making that repair in the Busch parking lot
Busch has been my go to place for the last couple decades. They are the most honest car Mechanics you will ever find.

I have carbon fiber wheels on my Shelby mustang GT 350 R. Very very difficult to change tires without scratching and damaging the rims. Busch auto service center was able to do it effortlessly and professionally, very pleased, and satisfied with the service, quality, professionalism, and pricing.
