They’re amazing but also very good at what they do. The staff is also very kind and will answer your questions on the spot. I’ve been to many mechanic shops and they are by far the best because they understand their clients needs when it comes to our vehicles.

I had a part adjusted/removed. When they were finished they called me to pick up my car. When I went there my front bumper was scratched. I went and talked to them to check their cameras since they denied doing it. They wouldn’t help. I had my husband go over. They then agreed to have it fixed. They said they would buff out the scratches and paint. I brought it back over the following week. They kept it for one day. Never buffed out the scratches and just painted it. Horrible job. Now I need to pay to get my bumper fixed on a brand new car. Would never go back or recommend them.

Replaced my horns that went bad. They used aftermarket which was fine. And did the job for over 100 less than the next auto repair shop that quoted me aftermarket parts. No issues with trying to use this place again.

I went there because my radio was not turning on and steering controls were not working ( before radio stopped working) because that radio was aftermarket.
I told them I want all these things to work. They said they can work on it and took my car inside. After a while they handed me the car and receipt of 120$ (120$/hour labour charges) and told me it was fuse which got disconnected. The radio was working but the steering controls were not.
When I asked them about it they said again they have to open and put some module to the radio which Will cost me another 240$.
Wouldn't I get it done in 240$ everything in one go?

Small shop but they are very conscientious and do good work at fair rates.I was noticing a grinding sound during warmup on my brakes. Didn't know what it was but figured maybe a brake job was needed. That wasn't it -- they ground down the rotors and calipers. The noise came back soon afterward, so I took it in. Ira said the parts were under the 1 year warranty from a major job they'd done last year, so I got all new brakes all around at no charge. Nice surprise, and the noise is gone. I couldn't be happier.

so i bring this man an engine and a transmission to install in my antique car hes got a 240z in the showroom tells me it only took 40 hrs for a engine swap he says to me you come to me for knowledge and labor he never shows me on paper the time he spends on the car just keeps on asking for more money long story short i spent about $15000 yes 15 thousand dollars on his lack of knowledge i felt very taken advantage of i feel raped robbed and abused hes telling me hes almost done yo yoing me lying to me i lost confidence in him told em we need to sever out ties he tells me hes not charging me anything any more finally im like screw this gimme back my car and he tries to charge me another $2700 for part i already paid for and gave him i argued thae fact and got him to lower it to $2300 he never gave me a receipt with proper billing all he did was take advantage of me lie to me and rob me no one should trust this man he is a thief a liar and he tells me to my face hes a man of his word so he can justify his b/s in his head now i have a car that does not run in pieces i feel so betrayed robbed taken advantage of anyone who even considers taking their car to this man BEWARE he will lie to you face and rob you he was taking things off the car to replace that arent even made anymore and impossible to obtain telling lies that they leak to stall the process and take even more money from me i spent 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS AND I WAS ROBBED stay away from this man hes a crook the only consolation i have is he wont be taking the money with him to hell im an honest hard working man and i know s*** comes back to you karma is a real thing what comes around goes around he will get what he deserves pretty soon the world will be shun of this evil man who preys upon innocent people lies and steals and cheats people stay far away from this place why did he need over 140 hours to work on my car it was a simple engine swap yet he keep on nickel and diming me making me feel like hes doing so much to help tells me things months ago that hes working on and fixing then i go p/u the car and he tells me you tols us to stop working on it yeah yesterday the things we discussed were months ago he is the biggest lying thieving mechanic ive ever seen in my life my neighbor who is a car told me this car looks like it was put together by 6 year olds this is the worst ive been taken advantage of in my entire life never again will i trust another mechanic to even replace my wiper blades pure deception he uses his quiet shy demeanor to his advantage but he knows what hes doing stay away from this shop the man is a crook this is the kind of person who would sell his mother for a profit its disgusting the way i feel the bad thoughts that race thru my head on how i was taken by this charleton pretty soon the world will be shun of him his days are numbered and when that day comes it will be my gold watch his demise will be my gratification and thats really bad ive never felt this way before but no one has ever swindled 15 thousand dollars out of me before either for that amount of money the car should have been perfect and done christ lord almighty he had the car for 9 months you would think he would be capable of completing the project but no he was out to screw me and he did big time ...never give this man your business run far way im not happy ive lost a lot of money i was robbed raped and hung out to dry LIES LIES LIES LIES .....stay away from this shop dont trust this man you will be sorry

Ira and his team are top-notch, and then some. As someone who has *zero* automobile (I'm the guy who pops the hood and says "yep, that's the engine.") I've always been nervous when dealing with mechanics, but never once have I been talked down to when working with them.If you're looking for an independent shop that will see you as a person, not just a customer, Action Auto is the place for you.

Bought a car from this place after the owner mentioned that the car was in good shape. After 3 months, the transmissions broke and the car was declared non functional. The owner was nice and all during the sale, but wouldn't trust his judgment again on cars again after this.Service: Transmission
