Love the service and the work, Chano wants to do an A+ job and his product reflects it, likely due to both his experience and passion. We wanted sanding and staining, he came back and did a sample stain in 4 colors to ensure we picked the one we would like. His team was friendly and very thorough for our sanding job. They removed and placed back the vents and shoe moulding as well went under kitchen appliances. Yet somehow his price range was in the middle of our quotes so very competitive price-wise too.

We have been using Chano and his company for the last 10 years and will continue to use them as long as they continue to maintain the same level of quality and professionalism in their work. We had floors installed, bathrooms remodeled, floors repaired and refinished, rooms painted, etc., and they always stood high on their quality commitments. Even when we were asking for last minute tweaks, they were extremely accommodating and flexible to ensure maximum satisfaction on our side. We had them recommended to us by our daughter 10 years ago and. now, we keep recommending them to all our friends and acquaintances since they do such a good quality job. The most recent room remodeling they did for us included a hardwood floor refinishing. We, honestly, could not believe they were able to pull it off so nicely. The floor, that was covered by carpet for many years, had burn marks, serious gouges and we were worried in won't be possible to mask them. But Berna (Chano's uncle) and his team did an amazing job. The floor looks like new, and you can't see any of the blemishes it had before. Extremely happy with the result. Just use them and you'll see what we talk about.

Chano and his team did an amazing job on all our projects. Chano is very knowledgeable on all types of flooring. He was very thorough in talking us through all the details. The team installed vinyl plank, porcelain tiles, and rubberized flooring and all look great. They also repaired and painted the walls of our powder room. I highly recommend A Plus.

A Plus Hardwood Floors Inc did an excellent job with refinishing our hardwood floors. From the very beginning, Chano provided a detailed estimate explaining the entire process in writing along with a breakdown of the cost. The pricing was very reasonable and a lot less than what I was quoted by another contractor who didn’t even bother to measure. When I first contacted A Plus for an estimate, Chano stopped by to look over the job and took pictures and measured all the area. Every single room was measured as part of the estimate, and he explained the entire process and how long it would take. His crew was always timely and would notify me in advance if they were running a few minutes late or would be arriving early. They kept us well-informed throughout the entire process. We also used them for painting needs in our entire lower level and stairway/hallway. They also did an excellent job with the paint project, paying close attention to details and repairing any wall and window damage. They made sure to protect the floors while the painting was being completed. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Chano and his crew for their many services.Services: Tile work installation

Chano and his team refinished our hardwood floors and installed luxury vinyl and carpet in other parts of our home. The quote was very fair and clear. As we made amendments to the work, it was very clear how costs were being updated, which I appreciated. The work was done in a very timely and respectful fashion. Worked with Chano and his team for the past year after purchasing our new home. He’s installed hardwood and done so much handyman work with his team and all of it was done extremely well! We had a floorboard that chipped and he was back within the week to replace it. would definitely recommend the team at A Plus to anyone who needs work done and wants it done right.

Chano and his brother, and their whole crew were amazing to work with! The quote process was quick, easy, and fair. Their work was **perfect**. So clean and courteous. We hired them to finish our back hallway/pantry/powder room/laundry area and we could not be happier. They demoed existing flood, bathroom, and cabinets, and laid new tile, repaired all the drywall, painted and installed trim. Can’t wait to move so they can do more updates for us at our next home!

Chano and his team is beyond professional, and his prices are unmatched! He transformed my ugly 60 year old floors in McHenry that were under carpet to a BEAUTIFUL modern color. I couldn’t be happier with the work. He went above and beyond to give me pointers on what colors to use, and even some tips on some of the other renovations I’m doing! They use a dustless system that honestly was very impressive, and did a thorough job of taping off the rest of my house to prevent any spread of dust. I will continue to recommend them to friends, family, and clients!

I simply cannot speak highly enough about Chano and his crew/family..... They came in to handle a repair job that was botched by a previous contractor and did a fabulous job. Super-meticulous, with an eye for detail that was refreshing- given the quality of most contractors these days. They were punctual, polite and professional in every way. Chano explained the work every step of the way, including what might or might not need to be done. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves at the end of every day, something that not every contractor does. Chano came out to the house and measured. He was very professional. He answered all my questions. We had many cracked and stained boards and he let me know the cost of replacement up front. He was able to start fairly quickly and responded to all my texts. He definitely wanted to make sure we received the stain/finish we wanted. He reused all our shoe molding which helped us save on the cost which I really appreciated. The work was done faster than we anticipated. One thing that I couldn't believe is that his team draped plastic on the 2nd floor to minimize dust throughout the house! Not that I saw any sawdust - the house was immaculate - but appreciate that level of attentiveness. When we are ready to have the house painted, I know who to call!
