Thank God...new restaurant owners and staff bring added value to the marina.Docks and infrastructure are in much need of repair and updating. New owners that are promising to make changes but too slow in coming! I personally moved to the Starved Rock Yacht Club and it was a great move. Much more modern facilities and a true club atmosphere.Only other positive is Bushman Enterprises has a great pontoon rental service and it raised this rating two stars!B-dock group are the greatest! Although, if visiting B Dock bring a flashlight. Sadly I personally put the lighting for the walkway on B dock out of my own pocket. More sad here it is 3 years later and only half the solar lights are functioning and no effort on owners part to update or provide much needed lighting. I did see 2 new boards replaced..?

Very well run facility. Most of the employees were pleasant. The manager on duty was a bit testy, full of himself. No big deal though!

Unexpected Major boat repair accomplished during launch season. Customer service above and beyond. Pleasant to work with. The body work (fiberglass) beautiful job! Timeliness of completion was critical due to lock closures . Highly recommend them as a stop over delicious restaurant on site! In need of a mechanic or body work "give them a call!"

I Dropped by boat over 6 weeks ago, to get her summerizesd and fuel adjustment . It was picked up this weekend with a torn cover . I spoked with joe several times over the 6 week time. Never was told about the damage to my cover. Their as no damage or torn when boat was drops off. I talked with joe on Monday. About this concern. It was never brought to my attention. May 27, i spoked with joe the lead mechan. I’m still waiting for the phone that he said has going to investigate. They lost a customer for being dishonest, and unresolved and no follow up either.

I am a new boat owner. Bought a used boat and unknown to me the bellow was shot! Tony the mechanic was about to go home when he volunteered to stay and look at my boat (previous boat trip it had taken on water, very dangerous). Tony volunteered to work on it the next day, which he was technically off. I called a few places to make sure I was getting a fair price, they came in a lot less than the places I called. The owners are super nice. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Great staff and a very nice place. I highly recommend this place! P.S i never leave reviews, that is how nice this marina is!!!!Dan Lacy

On their back lot, out by 34, there was a couple dozen dilapidated abandoned boats and watercraft in various stages of decay. Most are gone now in 2022. I like to photograph a bunch of abandoned places and thought these old hulls could make for some cool photos. I looked for someone to ask permission from but struck out. The marina appeared closed but the gates were wide open. I walked around the interesting boat boneyard for a few minutes, took some pics then got on my way.

Starved rock marina has been nothing but amazing. They’ve been working on a friend of mines boat and did everything possible to make sure it was right and make sure it’s water ready. Alissa has been extremely helpful and quick to respond when there was more issues. Their mechanic is on point and will get the job done in a very timely manor. I strongly recommend anyone that is looking for work to be done or even storage, contact them.

This is gonna be our first season here.We moved our 42'SeaRay from Three Rivers marina. So far we like everything about Starved Rock Marina,on site mechanic, Restaurant and bar on premises. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. Looking forward to boating here and many years to come.

Stopped for gas. Fair priced. Was trying to trouble shoot issue. Tony was an absolute gem in helping me out. He had previously serviced my boat (previous owner) and even was willing to help over the phone with vacuflush issue.Veteran-ran service dept helped me get back on the river in no time! New marina ownership, owner came out to personally assist with fuel/etc. Highly recommend this marina!
