Service department is an absolute joke. My car had an appointment at 9 am on Tuesday and no one called me until I called Wednesday and was told they haven’t even looked at it yet. After driving it for a total of 1 minute and 16 seconds, told me nothing was wrong with it even after showing them a video of what it was doing. Ryan talked down to me and was argumentative. Go literally anywhere but here.

I had a great experience at Sierra motors and Ottawa Illinois. Jim was fantastic and was very kind. He made the whole ordeal very painless and I thought I got a good deal. I was very happy with everything and my car rides fantastic. I'm very very happy with the kindness of Jim as well as rest of the staff. That's why I came back again to buy another car from them.

Absolutely fantastic. Sierra Motor Mall Bill Walsh really puts their customers first. I ran over a piece of metal and put a hole in my tire. They were able to order me a new tire and install it the same day. A technician even stayed after to make sure it got done. 10/10 recommend!

Great experience. We found a car online we wanted to see, and made an appt. We worked with Jim. He had the car out and ready in the showroom garage area and greeted us at the door. He was very kind and helpful and wasn’t pushy at all. Everyone we spoke with was great. George and Anne helped us through the process as well. We are so very grateful we found a super nice car at a great price, and everyone at Sierra showed us nothing but kindness and respect. 5 stars!! Thank you!

Extremely disappointed with service. Just recently bought a car and paid extra to have it “certified”. At first the Car doesn’t come with windshield wiper fluid (whatever). Then two months later I already need oil change, new brake pads and Rottar’s. They deny that it needs any work. They are allowing people to drive unsafe cars because they don’t want to fix it? Baffled and disappointed is an understatement. Wanted to support local but will never buy a car from here again.

I had a great experience purchasing a used vehicle from here! Roy did a great job helping me along the process and only pushed extras onto us a reasonable amount! Tad expensive but that's everything these days.

The experience at Bill Walsh service center at Sierra Motors was quite disappointing the manager of 30 years was screaming yelling because I questioned him on what he did and I payed for 1700.00 dollars and it wasn't done with proof in papers and asked for Bill Walsh he wasn't there. I did not raise my voice I just left very unsatisfied and saking my head how could ok f that happen

This dealership service department is HORRIBLE!!Took my VW Golf diesel in for fuel issues. Under warranty mind you. No loaner and they had the car a MONTH!!No communication unless we called. They cannot even diagnose the issue. They just keep replacing parts. We did pay for a new water pump and serpentine belt and were quoted a price ....went to pick up the car and the total was more than 50% higher with again. O communication of the increase. They then couldn't even wash it. The car was covered in bird s**** I received an email from the general manager asking me to call him regarding my review of their service department...I replied that they have my number and to call when they are ready to discuss a partial refund of the over charge. Guess what....no call...

Reposting from my experience at the Toyota dealer—but since it’s the same owner it’s relevant Let me start off that the salesman I was perfectly fine- the problems started when I went to look at a new vehicle and was informed there was a non negotiable $995 charge for a ceramic coating ( that probably was being sold at a 300% mark up) and a $1200 wheel, tire and glass protection package. When asked why this was standard—I was told by the salesman that during the pandemi—BW Jr didn’t want to be a “crook” and charge a market adjustment fee to his dealers—but instead wanted to make his customers feel better by getting something for the pleasure of buying a car at BW. When I told them I wasn’t interested in paying over sticker I was told to pound sand and good luck.It’s shady, 1k for ceramic coating (that has an actual cost to the dealer for probably 25% of that fee) is BW JR’s way of making more money though a market adjustment.Decided to drive to Peoria and pick up a Lexus instead.Buyer beware

Buyer beware! We are life long Volkswagen customers. My wife and I flew from South Carolina to purchase a new 2022 Volkswagen mk8 GTI from Sierra Volkswagen. We paid over MSRP for this new car in March of 2022. Fast forward to January of 2023 we decided trade it in for a VW Golf R. During this process we were shocked to find out the new GTI had an accident on the carfax report dating back to December of 2021! This rear damage accident with another vehicle reported on the Carfax caused us to lose thousands of dollars on our trade. This accident was not disclosed to us. After contacting Sierra Volkswagen GM about this they continue to deny responsibility.
