Ottawa Illinois has two stores the north one near I80 and this one on the south end of town. This store had more selection in the past but the remodel of the north store has changed that. This store is open till 10.

We shop here a lot because it's so close to our house. Most of the employees are nice. We will not buy meat here because we don't like the meat but everything else is alright as far as quality.

Why 2 out of 3 times there are no heads of letters available. They don't carry Ganella bread like the Northside. The deli dept was practically empty and they changed the fried ckn which used to be the very best. Is the store going under? I have to shop at Handi foods now because this store is terrible

Lack of items available and not so fresh vegetables or fruit. Never get a full list of items I go after because they are always out of well just about everything but their ads and app on Instacart claims they have it.

Please…PLEASE…STOCK THE CLEARLY CANADIAN! I can drive to Streator. They have it. I can drive to Hyvee in Peru. They have it. Strawberry even! 5 stars if you just keep the Clearly Canadian stocked.

I saw a literal troll in face and body follow some one tonight around the store. I didn't notice anything suspicious or anything that would warrant this, yet this troll in human form employee went out of their troll way to follow this customer. I understand it's Halloween so hiring a human troll to frighten customers might seem like a good idea , but this seemed more like profiling, fodder for a lawsuit, or harassment. I almost asked the person being followed if they were ok but I didn't want to make the situation worse. Do better Kroger.

While visiting Starved Rock, we had to stop in here multiple times. We were able to find almost everything we wanted and service was really friendly. It's not the hugest or most well stocked store I've been to, but it had the basics and came in clutch where we needed it. Major thank you to the employee who let us in right before store closing to buy some basic first aid items to tend to an injury - very appreciated!
