The store itself is clean and typically well stocked. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The 3 star rating is for checkout. Out of a possible 14 checkout lanes, there are rarely more than 2 or 3 open. Today, July 3rd, there were 4 open. By the time we got thru the line, they had opened 2 more. Not nearly enough for the day before a holiday!

One of the best grocery stores in Naperville. Always greeted by "nice greeters" . Unlike at that other store that has greeters. Meijers has good produce. Their prices are good and their sales are GREAT.

Went thru the line paid for everything I go to exit alarm rings and attendant goes thru everything as if I stole something and has other customers looking at me weird and a security says he probably stole something. No sir I’m an Army Veteran I have no need to steal!

My husband and I are regular shoppers at Meijer… and honestly never really have the greatest check out experiences here. However recently we noticed a GREAT worker named Gonzalo. Holy cow he goes above and beyond. Making call outs on available check out stations, going back and forth being very attentive…. While the other employee he was working with was just standing there watching and not helping. How unbelievable is that. He’s super kind and very well mannered. He’s the best employee of Meijer that I’ve come across. You guys need to hire more people like Gonzalo!! Very happy with his customer service skills.

terrible staff. always rude at self check out. made me wait 10 minutes while one person walked across the store to tell me something wasn't on sale when it was. there is always an issue especially at the self check out here. cashiers are always hovering over your shoulder too, very unwelcoming. it's a standard in retail to mark something down to a different price if a sign was posted wrong or put in the wrong area, staff is not good at their job. can't stand this meijer

Wide variety of grocery items for sure. I have to admit this was always my go to store but with the continued rising costs at grocery stores I now hit Aldi first for some basic produce, etc. With Walmart right across from Aldi that's my next stop. I price compare Walmart prices to Meijer. Whoever has the lowest price wins. A majority of the time I find Walmart slightly cheaper. However I'm very particular with regards to many of my choices and Meijer has many items I cannot get anywhere else so I still recommend Meijer in general.

What a great delivery service they offer! Not only does your Shipt shopper text you in real-time about substitutions or add-ons, they also notify you about when they're checking out and on the way to you. They're very communicative which I greatly appreciate. My produce was very fresh, the meat that was selected by my shopper was also as well. They are by far the best grocery delivery service in the area, and honestly, if you shop in store, you're still getting better produce/meat/etc. than your local Walmart. Thank you Meijer Oswego for a great experience, and we will definitely be back!
