If I could give negative stars, I would. This branch ruins Chase's reputation. I have a checking account, savings account, home loan and car loan with Chase. They do NOT value or respect their customers at all. I came in to open a simple high school checking account for my son. I was laughed at by the teller for not having an appointment. And then she says "sure, you can wait, but they have other appointments so you won't be seen". Completely rude and laughing during the entire encounter. What a joke. Thinking of switching banks.

This is by far the worst Chase bank I ever have visited. I have had numerous run ins with the staff like ridiculous policies that seem to apply to their branch, rude management, poor greeting, and staff sitting around chatting while the lobby is full waiting for a personal banker. I went in as a Chase Private client and waited an hour while one Private Client banker finished up her phone call and then had another banker sit down in her cube and chat like my existence was meaningless. DO NOT visit this branch. during this same visit I saw a young woman totally ignored as she sat there waiting for someone to ask her if she needed help. The greeter continued to assist others but not this young lady. if I could give 0 stars I would.

Was just in waiting area for over twenty minutes when 2 men who just walked in, were greeted and helped before me. I haven't ever done a bad Yelp review but this was terrible customer service and I will never be back at this location. Seriously, ask who is next before you take people back to personal banking!

Chase did not look beyond "policy" and chose to ignore logic. How many ATMs at any bank or gas station or pharmacy accepts a withdraw for $48.00???? In addition this non chase arm is located at 7350 Village Green Drive in Aurora, IL. Goggle says it is a subdivision and the address doesn't exist. Because my debit card has a chip and it was physically verified with my pin on 1 entry it meant I did this $48.00 withdraw on 12.26.20 at 1:53 pm. I did not go anywhere. I also stated the 11 years I have been your customer can you find a non chase atm withdraw. You are on almost every block. Up to a supervisor who still could not move beyond their script. I asked for this to be documented and I am told it is closed? So have opened an account with a competitor and will be closing my accounts Sometimes the smallest thing you do or don't do has repercussions. Too big to fail in 2008. Can't thing logically that hacks can occur? Show me how to withdraw money from an ATM in ones and fives. Nope. Dead silence.

This is a ridiculous branch and set up. The entire lobby, that once had 4 tellers waiting to greet and help you, is now empty. Instead there are 2 machines sitting there. I needed to get something notarized and had to wait over a half an hour for a personal banker. If you need a real person to attend to a cash or deposit issue, you can walk to the back/no man's land, and have a drive through teller help you...After they have dealt w the pile up of cars. This is horrible. Also, they no longer offer a change machine that counts your coins. Why not? Overall Chase is skimping! Very poor customer service. Very poor branch. Surprised by Chase in general. I would give it zero stars if Yelp would let me.

Quality service! They are always packed , very busy branch but manage to always move at a face pace while being efficient. They answered all my questions, and were very helpful!

There is only a business drive thru, really. No tellers ever working just machines, but no coin machine. Many people "working" in the branch but none useful, just greeters to tell you what they can't help you with. Always, always, always long lines, waiting waiting waiting... A waste of space!

If you're looking for a NO-SERVICE bank, you've come to the right place! This branch is a JOKE! I will start out by saying that I have been a Chase customer for a number of years. Since starting this relationship, I have witnessed this branch (and other Chase branches) gradually remove key banking services. Drive-thru windows are now only for the use of BUSINESS customers - all other customers must park their cars and go INTO the branch. Once inside, you are steered by a series of ropes to one of two ATM machines in the lobby. If I wanted to use an ATM, I would use the one that I can drive through OUTSIDE without having to get out of my car! If you want coins counted, forget that too. They don't offer that special service either (yes, sarcasm). Isn't that a standard service that people expect from a bank? Today I got to the bank at 3:50pm and had to sign-in to wait for a business banker to open a new business account. There was one customer sitting with the banker and I would have been next. I waited for an hour and 10 minutes during which time 6 non-business customers who came in after me were assisted by personal bankers. When I inquired about what the F- was going on, I was told that they only have ONE person who can assist business customers. When I started making a stink, Jose came out and said that he could make an appointment for me at a different branch. If I wanted to be served at a different branch in a different town, don't you think I would have gone THERE instead? I asked how long they were open and I was told 6pm. I returned at 5:45 and sat for almost 15 minutes before the business banker came up to me and said that it was now too late to open a new account. She then went on to state that I needed to make an appointment to meet with a business banker. WHY didn't Jose tell me this when he KNEW I was getting frustrated earlier??? Long story short, I would not wish this bank (and I use that term loosely) on my worst enemy. Dealing and defaulting with the 'outfit' would be less painful.

The branch I go to regularly is the one in Oswego, IL. off Rt. 34 (Ogden Ave.). When I first joined with this Chase Bank (about 2 years ago now), they seemed very much like a normal bank - nothing out of the ordinary. You walk in and there is a reception area where deposit/withdrawal slips are available, personal bankers at their private desk areas on the right and left of the building and there - dead center - was the teller area where one or two tellers were available to help each customer in line with their withdrawals, deposits, change issues and general banking inquiries. If I were to close my eyes and imagine what a bank would look like inside (generally speaking), this bank filled the persona exactly. In fact, their on-line banking options were far superior to any other banking institution I had previously had accounts at and this too played a large part in my defection to Chase from another local bank in the area. SADLY, THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION NO LONGER FITS THIS CHASE BANK. In the last few months, Chase has decided that the human tellers in their inside lobby are no longer needed. They put little barriers up where the teller windows used to be and no human beings work in the front reception area except the personal bankers at their private desks. In place of the human tellers, Chase has added two ATM machines - seriously. The same ATM machines that can be found in two different outside drive-through lanes are now duplicated inside the bank as well. If you want to speak with a human teller, you need to walk to the back of the building and stand in line for the ladies who operate the drive-through area. These poor ladies - they are always busy - trying to keep-up with the outside drive-through lanes and now also trying to keep-up with all the inside people too who spent the extra time to park their car, walk inside to speak with a human. If I wanted an ATM - I NEVER WOULD HAVE PARKED MY CAR AND WALKED INSIDE - I JUST WOULD HAVE PULLED INTO A LANE OUTSIDE WHERE I COULD AT LEAST LISTEN TO MY OWN MUSIC WHILE I WAITED. Here's another silly one for ya - do you have loose change that you need counted? You know - the kind of change you spend many months squirreling away in a jar until the day you cash it in? Picture the big machine they keep that sorts all the loose change and spits out a total in a few minutes? Well - THIS BRANCH DOESN'T HAVE HUMAN TELLERS ANYMORE IN THE FRONT, SO THEY NO LONGER COUNT YOUR CHANGE FOR YOU. Guess what they do?? They hand you a bunch of loose paper change sleeves and TELL YOU TO COUNT YOUR OWN CHANGE AND JUST BRING IT BACK AFTER YOU HAVE HAND PACKED EACH SLEEVE. As you can probably tell - this is very frustrating. I ask myself every time I come in to withdrawal money why I bother and the answer is that I come in not because I want to - BUT BECAUSE I WANT A ROLL OF QUARTERS OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF COIN WHICH AN ATM WON'T GIVE YOU. So, I walk to the back of the bank now (past those now empty teller windows in the front) to stand in a line with 7-10 other people who ALSO PROBABLY DIDN'T WANT TO COME INSIDE BUT HAD TO BECAUSE AN ATM DOESN'T GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT. Do you know what the teller said to me when I asked why they made this ridiculous move of closing the front teller windows - "statistics show that a large percentage of customers come in for basic withdrawals, so an ATM can handle that quicker for them - it's a positive service for our customers". I almost choked on the puke coming up from my stomach over this line of BS. Tell the truth - you were looking for ways to cut costs, so you probably let a few employees go to add some machines in their place. I've about had it with Chase.

My son had saved allowance and had a bag full of change. We took it to our local Chase location where my husband and I bank to exchange it for bills. The teller informed me that the change machine was not working and that they could not do it. I then spoke with a manager and was told the same thing, and that they had no way to store the change. This was a bag with less than $40 in change! And this is supposed to be a BANK! This was an opportunity to make an impression on a young, potential customer, not to mention an opportunity to make a child happy. I offered to count it myself! But, we were turned away. (Oh, they offered to send it in for processing and would credit my account in 6 weeks time. Um, no thanks!) We ultimately went to a location in Naperville, whose branch manager agreed that he would have counted that little amount of change himself if their machine was not working. Very poor service from Oswego Chase.

In a previous review I rated this location with three stars. Today I will have to lower the rating to two stars, not at the fault of the Branch employees, but due to corporate decisions. Pulling into the drive-thru to have a transaction completed by an actual live person; an endangered species at Chase Banks, I was greeted with signs informing me that the future is coming....only business customers may access a drive-thru teller....everyone else has to go inside. (Not kidding, large banners at the drive-thru) To be honest I rarely use the services of a teller, but it is nice to have the choice when you need one. So for cutting services and making simple transactions harder, I am cutting my rating too....to two stars.
