I always place Best Buy orders online, and rarely go more than 15' into the store except to pickup my online orders. I give only 3 stars because I don't ever get a welcoming attitude whenever I pick my pre-ordered merchandise up. Especially the day I picked up my online ordered iPhone 14 Pro w/ T-Mobile service already completely setup and paid for on my home computer the night before. I spend $1,000+ and felt zero gratitude. I had to ask 4-5 people standing at the door if I could trouble them to show me the phone cases, to which the employee that accompanied me had no enthusiasm to help me find a case; so I walked out and ordered one elsewhere.I don't know if it's because they don't get the opportunity to upsell accessories or other things that I don't need when I online order, or perhaps it's because I catch them at a bad moment.All of my online orders are easy, and picking them up is easier; every product I've received from them is exactly what I ordered, and is ready for pick-up the moment I walk in. So I barely spend a minute inside. But the unfriendly attitude hasn't occurred once, but every time I go in. They all may be great friendly people... who knows? However, I just happen to have the uncanny timing of catching them at an unpleasable moment.Don't get me wrong. They are not horrible people, and I will continue going back, because every order I place has been perfect, and I'm not really there to talk to anyone... But I have never received a smile, or real friendliness when I go to pick up my expensive merchandise.Also, I highly highly recommend Best Buy's T-Mobile partner for cell service. T-Mobile's customer service makes you always feel like they owe you a favor, and their International Plan is Great!!! My phone (using T-Mobile service only) worked in Laos, and Thailand... Yes, T-Mobile flawlessly gave me unlimited calling/texting, and data without using a local SIM/eSIM for iphone 14 Pro. T-Mobile also fixed billing errors that were my fault, and refunded things that I didn't deserve.

Best Buy used to be the go to store for a lot of things, well times have changed. I went to get a freezer for my garage and I stood there waiting to be helped for almost a half hour.. Asked an associate for assistance and they said they would send someone over, waited another 20 minutes and no one showed up. I decided to order the freezer on their website, waited in the store for pickup confirmation.. then they tell me they can't confirm my information and it could take 15 minutes up to 48 hours.. what a waste of my Sunday. Absolutely a disgrace, no wonder these companies are failing.

My go to store for all Electronic & Appliance need. Everyone here are customer friendly but my shout-out goes to Leslie, one of the Manager at this store. She is knowledgeable, customer friendly and understands the value of customer spending, therefore offers the best she can for customer needs/request.She even proactively takes care of potential steps that may become an issue. I once bought an Open box appliance and she suggested the sales person to work with Geek squad to have it removed from Demo mode before delivery.This step was a big hassle for a Washer & Dryer i bought from another store and i had to go through multiple calls, setup geek squad repair appointments, one technician was lame and rude, did not fix the issue. Had to escalate and have another technician come in who finally fixed it.

Terrible experience with this store. Bought a memory card for my sons laptop for Christmas and it turned out to be defective. Geek Squad even verified it was defective. They would not give me a refund or a replacement because it was past 14 days. Huh? It should not matter when I bought it. The fact is you sold me a defective product and now you want me to do the work of contacting the manufacturer to try to get a replacement. That’s crazy and I will definitely look into other options on future electronics purchases. Best Buy will no longer be my first choice.

Good service through Best Buy Service Program for appliances and home electronics. 2nd time my computer “bricked” and they got it running again no extra charge. Compare to buying a new computer!

This location is only good for pickup of online purchases.The staff make it difficult to do business at this location. One example: buying a new iPhone requires an appointment...rather than deal with that noise, I drove over to the Apple Store in Naperville and had a no-nonsense transaction complete in less than 30 minutes.Additionally, they no longer do recycling drop off of batteries, bulbs, and cables. This Best Buy location used to have a drop-off for used batteries, cables, and ink cartridges. I had a small ziploc (snack size) bag of mercury batteries that I wanted to recycle. To my surprise the drop off was no longer there. I asked a staff person at the door, and the person with a nice grim on their face says "we don't do that anymore". I asked if I could just toss the ziploc in their trash can next to their security booth...the response was "nooooo, can't do that!" with a big smile on their face. Just unhelpful staff all around.I will be emailing the village president to lobby for an Abt to move in so this Best Buy can shut down.

I went to the Best buy to get a product for Christmas. I was greeted when entering . I have a bestbuy credit card and plan to use my rewards. I stood in the aisle for 30 minutes waiting for assistance. The product was up high so needed a ladder. After waiting, i went and drug the ladder for employee use only to get my product down. Still nobody stopped me .I went up the ladder and it was unstable. Lol I decided to just go somewhere else because this was crazy. As I walked out the greeter said have a nice day and kept in chatting. I bought off of crutchfield online, it came in two days. No problem, no climbing ladders, someone could answer my questions for what i needed. I guess the employees have better things to do than help customers at Christmas. The store was very empty. So sad .
