I haven't found a nail salon in the Yorkville area I like, so I tried venturing out to Oswego. Beauty Nails & Spa was very welcoming and they got me in right away. I don't know the man's name who worked on my acrylic no-chip manicure, but he was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. I am happy with how my. nails turned out, but I have a few hesitations about this place and I'm not sure I'll be back unless some of these things change. First off, when I was asked what I wanted and I was specific about wanting a chrome finish and almond shaped nails that weren't much longer than just past my finger tip, I was told by the man doing my nails that he can't do almond shape that short because it would look bad. But he was still able to do it, so I was confused as to why he seemed so adamant about not doing it when I initially requested it. I also wanted a lightening bolt painted on my ring nails. He seemed hesitant on this request, but said he would do it. Then when he was to the point of doing it, he discouraged me from doing it again. I just gave in because after 2.5 hours into this manicure, I was ready to be done. It didn't sit well with me that a complete stranger I'm paying money to do a service I'm asking for to keep telling me no to my requests when he asked me what I wanted. The part that really bothered me though was that he used an old pair of toe nail clippers for trimming my nails and the skin around my nails. Nothing looked like it had been sanitized in any way. He also dremmeled the hell out of my nails. He got my skin several times too and I had to let him know it was hurting me. It wasn't as clean or organized as other nail salons I've been to that are in strip malls in St. Charles (I have a tried and true place out there, but living in Yorkville, I didn't want to make the drive today.) At the end of the 2.5 hours it took him to do my nails, I was charged $70 for the acrylic no-chip chrome manicure. I appreciate the time and effort put into my nails and I'm happy with how they turned out, but again, unless they change some things and I read reviews where these things are improved, I will not be returning. Just don't tell your customers that their choices will look bad unless you try it first, sterilized tools, don't overdo the dremmel filing, and listen to what your clients are requesting and please stop invalidating their choices, even if you think it's a bad choice. It's my choice to make.

They took me at 7. I was in there late. Absolutely amazing. Go they are wonderful people. Lynn was amazing. I just really love their cute place. I have never seen so many colors before. I swear it’s like 1000 different colors in there!
Specialties: They have different pedicures.

It was a great experience. First of all I called 7 other locations, no one could get me in, " I said I will try this last place. I called and the lady at the time said can I be there at 7 and I was like yes. They were so nice and accommodating. My nail queen was on vacation and I needed my nails done asap. Definitely would recommend. The vibe was awesome as well. She kept using my name in which I love. They no there regular customers names as well.

I grew out my toe nails and seeing how much was taken off I was so upset I had asked for square nails and instead the worker decided she wanted to do round nails and cut my length completely short! Cut me twice while servicing me and I was still left with dead skin around my heel and when I pointed it out it was as if I was asking for another pedicure service then I realized my nails are so uneven and my big toe nail was chipped from taking too much nail off on the side i wouldn't recommend this place also they don't have Apple Pay.

This was the first time that my daughter & I had done our nails professionally. Everyone was polite and professional, and took our requests. We love our custom Halloween Nails! We'll definitely be going back again.

In response to the owner:It is not "unreasonable" to leave a note less 3 star review. I left no notes because the service for me wasn't frankly noteworthy. Nothing negative nor positive, a neutral experience hence the 3 star or "OK" rating.Service, timeliness, skills, nails were "OK"- not bad nor spectacular.Lastly your comment around I left another review of another nail salon the same day, that is accurate. I typically leave my reviews at once when I am stationary. I opted NOT to have my pedicure done at your establishment and had them done elsewhere, hence that review.

Do not recommend for a manicure. I wanted a gel manicure but with tips added. I’ve done this plenty of other places but was told this time I needed a full set of acrylic to get what I wanted. Wasn’t happy about it but did it anyways. I got a French tip done and had to request that she make the whites thicker because you could see where she glued the tips on the acrylics. When I asked this I was told I was “very smart.” On top of that, none of the whites are even. We are now a week into my nails and they are all already peeling off. I would have requested to get them fix but there was only one person working, her next client was there, and I watched her turn away 3 other people. There was a gentleman there as well but honestly he just stood over us and watched. Kinda creepy! Lovely little nail place. They smiled and put up with my mom- and she can be a lot. They were playing country music videos, which was unexpected and quite odd, but whatever, it made for an interesting pedi.

This was hands down the best experience I have had getting my nails done. I felt well taken care of and for a reasonable price!! I will recommend this place!!!
