We had an incredibly positive experience with Allegro as our six-year-old daughter participated in the Nutcracker cast. The instructors demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism, ensuring a supportive environment for young performers. The attention to detail in choreography, costumes, and overall production was impressive. The cast, which included both older and younger members, fostered a fantastic and collaborative atmosphere. Our daughter not only developed her skills but also gained confidence in a nurturing environment. We are grateful for this experience and highly recommend Allegro for young aspiring dancers.

We are so pleased to have found this dance studio that we drive the distance for my daughter to attend here. I have been thrilled to watch the joy the dancers show for the art and grateful for the attention to good technique.

I found my dance family here and developed an insane amount of skill and technique in the past year. The owner is absolutely brilliant and so understanding too.

After trying numerous studios in surrounding areas, we have finally found our family's true dance home! How nice to be part of such a lovely: dance, theatre, musical & fitness community. It feels like all the best rolled into one location.

I've been involved with Allegro Performing Arts center for about a year and a half, attending adult ballet classes as well as a few other dance classes (tap and contemporary). I've also been involved in a few of their productions. The location is easy-to-find with ample parking right in front of the building. The inside is clean, well-maintained, and has 2 studios spaces (one large, one medium-sized) plus a couple lounge areas, one of which is used for music lessons and as a waiting area for clients and parents. The large studio has plenty of room to accommodate many dancers, adequate vertical space for leaps and jumps, very sturdy barres, and a comfortable, marley-covered floor. Though I have experience in music and am rhythmically capable, I was completely new to ballet when I started here. Heather's experience in the ballet world and in teaching the methods become apparent right away. She provides instructions that are very clear and offers cues that help to easily address form issues. Between exercises, she'll share the history of the movements and techniques, the origin of the words and phrasings, and the anatomy/kinesiology and physics behind the movements. This makes the class very interesting to me. She's also able to accommodate everyone in the class regardless of ability level, providing individual instruction equally among the dancers. Heather's great at assigning challenging routines that are just at the top of my abilities so that I'm pushed towards improvement. Ballet is physically demanding no doubt, but a lot of the difficulty for me comes from the mental and memory aspects of learning a routine. It is hard work, and I find it very rewarding. During my time with the studio, I've been given the opportunity to perform in a couple of their productions. It's great to be able to put all that hard work into a final product that my family and friends can enjoy! It's also wonderful to be able to do this alongside her other students and company members as a team. I've witnessed firsthand that this studio forges hard-working young individuals who learn to take criticism as opportunity for improvement, work hard for results, and take pride in their accomplishments.

My sister attends the pilates classes and yoga classes. The classes can be a bit pricey but are substantially lower than those in the area. She keeps recommending for me to go. She has chronic back pain that doctors cannot figure out why and attending these classes is the only thing that helps relieve her pain.
