I had a fantastic hair cut by Kara today! I showed her some pictures of how I wanted it & she gave me a hair cut exactly matching the pictures! She also did curls and they turned out so beautiful! She spent so much time on my hair to get it just right. I was very Blessed to get in for the appt. bc I called that morning because I completely forgot about an event I had later that day! She was so terrific to accommodate me for the blow dry & curls! She had another client right after me so she said I could wait 15 minutes and she would have time to do the curls then, if I wanted. It worked out perfectly because I had to run an errand in the mall anyway! I will definitely be back! Thanks for the wonderful service!

Great Hair Salon. We loved the one in Fort Myers and thought we Would try the one in Orland Park. Both employ excellent stylists. They are both professional and talented and we are very happy with our hair. Both salons are peaceful and not a lot of crazy drama like a few that we visited. You won't be sorry

I came to JC Penny salon as I was shopping in the mall. I want to comment on how amazing Ammar’s work was on my daughter. Her hair turned out perfect! Not only was her hair so professionally done, she was so happy and comfortable. He was so friendly and for a toddler- that’s exactly what she needed to enjoy her haircut. I love Penney's, but time to update your telephone message indicating your store hours. I just called, and the message said, "Our store hours for Dec. 26th are...." That's about 2 months ago!

I like Penney's and with the continuing demise of these old-fashioned broad-based department stores, Penney's looks better all the time. This Penney's is at the Orland Square Mall in Orland Park. The store offers all the usual merchandise at attractive prices. It is not the cheapest but it makes up for it by having a wide selection of products. At the mall we lost our Carson's and Sear's, and the midline Macy's replaced the classy Marshall Fields but at least we have some department store choices - the Penney's and the newish also-classy Von Maur's. Still and all, this Penney's remains a good alternative when you are shopping to outfit a house. Give it a try.

Just yesterday, I got my hair done by Maria. I asked for an updo ponytail since I was going to a wedding as a bridesmaid and I absolutely LOVED it! Maria was very sweet and did such an amazing job. She didn’t even have to look at the picture and still managed to do great. The lady at the front desk was also very sweet (I forgot her name). Highly recommend!

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. Carmenia was flexible and considerate towards my limited availability. She took me in regardless of not feeling well that day and gave me her 100%, as well as her undivided attention. The hair treatment turned out amazing. JCPenny is known for their pricy services, however receiving great care and service makes it worth it! I would definitely recommend Carmenia as a chemical hair treatment specialist. She uses high quality products and equipment, which, trust me, are hard to find; gives you recommendations on treatment options depending on your hair type and desirable outcome, and she is not pushy towards convincing clients to buy extra products. Definitely recommend and definitely 5 stars!

This salon is so unprofessional, karmania did my keratin and it didnt work 300 down the drain. Not only that we got a refund, once i told her what "kertain" they used the manager just said keratin complex. This is unprofessional, because their is other types of keratin complex. How you gonna run a salon without knowing products or missing a step?.

I will never purchase a big ticket item from J C Penny again. I purchased a mattress and box spring $1800 price tag and 20/20 hindsight could have gotten it much cheaper from manufacturer - (Sealy hybrid I comfort). Due to COVID I presume it took multiple phone calls and three months to receive. I should have just canceled the order. So it turns out the sales person didn't set up removal of old mattress and I had to figure out a way to do so. Thats one of many things that pissed me off. I received the mattress set on a Saturday night 8pm by two clowns. That's another Yelp I will do next. I called 12/15/2020 to report defect and was told that after 48hrs it was a fee. Hmm? Ok how you take something off the bill? We can give you a JC Penney's gift card but that will void the warranty. Hmmm? How about you just come get the box spring and credit my account. The customer service agent whose was Keontaye was very professional, courteous, and helpful. After everything I went through with the late delivery she decided to wave fees. Thank you very much. As of this day I'm still waiting for pickup of box spring. I'm so sick of poor service being solely blamed on COVID and then expecting the customer to eat it.

Ruben is awesome - best hairstylist I've ever had. I've also had a few haircuts with Jenine and I recommend her as well. Everyone here is professional and friendly.

The Hair Stylist, Javonte, is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. How do you forget to book your appointments? Incompetence? This happened to me twice! The first time he still did my hair because he was not busy. However, the 2nd time he didn't even attempt to accommodate me although I made the appointment over 2 weeks in advance and it was his error. Please keep in mind, I just taken my sew-in out. There is a name for these type of folk, but I will remain respectful.

I am too scared to go there. The stylists pry into my life and business, and criticize me if they don't like what they hear. Gina is very opinionated and makes me feel stressed when i talk to her. She freaked out when I wanted my hair shorter in a negative way.
