Lazy movers and horrible customer service I ordered a couch from here and they originally told me it wasn't going to be here till January and ended up getting here a month early and I was happy and THREW OUT MY OLD COUCH, thinking I was going to get a new one the next morning, JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THE MOVERS DIDNT EVEN TRY TO MAKE MY NEW COUCH FIT INSIDE MY HOUSE. They said it was too small of an entrance but yet they tried the smallest side entrance!!! The movers were making excuses for every OTHER possible entrance including the front main door that they didn't even try! called customer service to talk about it and THE LADY WAS EVEN MORE RUDE and not helpful when I was asking questions about what to do, she just was so annoyed by me apparently. TERRIBLE. Hire better movers that don't make excuses and more understanding customer service reps.

Ordered a new couch on April 22. We were told 8-12 weeks as it was a custom piece. No problem. We expected that. What I didn't expect was 19 weeks later to STILL be waiting for our couch and to have a delivery date set. I received an initial call telling me it would be June. Then I received a call on that date telling me it would be July. Then I received a call telling me it would be August....but no date was given. The salesperson was lovely, but I could have had a comparable couch delivered by now from many other retailers.

Steve is an amazing manager and sales person. He really helped us out today. We came to buy an item to help adjust to a new situation in our home. He was compassionate and helpful from start to finish.

I will never shop at the room place again. I ordered a bedroom set and a mattress. My bedroom set came with multiple handles missing. I was told they would send the handles to me so I can put them on myself. They sent the handles to the wrong address. I don't understand how they could get the wrong address when the bedroom set was sent to the correct address. Now I have no handles on my drawers. Also they keep pushing back my mattress delivery. Every week they call me and tell me it will be another week behind. I asked to speak to a manager, and of course, all of the managers happened to be busy at that time. This was a terrible experience. This furniture was expensive and I am very disappointed with the quality and service. No stars should have been given.

I was looking for a particular living room set up. I wasn’t sure about the color or the style but I am so glad that I had a nice, polite, knowledgeable, sales person Lazandra Dumas. She is a great communicator in I am so happy with my new furniture Thanks.

Prices are too expensive and they try and force you to buy whatthey want. Avoid salesman Sam as he was unprofessional and the couches we ordered were completley different. When trying to get in contact with Sam he hangs up or just doesn’t answer. Avoid!!

I paid when I purchased my chair at the Room Place in Feb..called said they would deliver in Mar..then in April ..then in June when I returned for my refund they would not give me my delivery fee back..perhaps because I am a senior citizen and handicap that they would treat me this way..I will never come to this Room Place in Orland again..I want my delivery charge $79 back...terrible..terrible service to the elderly...

Updated 5/29/23: Sam from the orland store was my personal shopping assistant on Memorial Day 2023 and he made my experience AMAZING! So patient and gave great recommendations! He is a gem and should be recognized. Customer service training at this location is top notch.2021 review: Another awesome experience from the Orland Park Store - Cindy in Customer Service at the store was AMAZING! She was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! I will always shop at the Orland Store!!Previous Review: Karen Rivas Villa provided me with the best customer service that I've experienced all year!!!! Bill Flores was amazing as well. I will definitely buy all of my furniture from here going forward! Thank you for employing stellar associates!!!

I purchased a love seat and sofa from the Room Place about a year ago. It has needed to be fixed multiple times through their service vendor (Guardian). I am greatly disappointed with the product. Since March 1, 2022, we have had to deal with service delays (due to parts that needed to be ordered or technicians who were not skilled in the areas of repair.)I've lost count on the many attempts to fix the problem-only to have it unresolved. I am a 79-year-old Chicago policeman. I feel victimized by this whole experience. I have paid in full for both of them. The telephone call to service and the RoomPlace were extremely trying. Please have a person from your company help me. I am at my wits end and will only accept a full refund or a comparable replacement set.

Spent an hour chatting and still not resolution. All this for $149 delivery fee. Offered nothing just said sorry .. like thank you. That helps the situation. I would go else where for your needs these people are greedy and just want to take your money and give sub par services.
