Rockler is a woodworker's paradise. This trip, I was going to buy a couple more Betsy clamps, but I got side-tracked when I saw the discount on the hand planes. After consulting with the salesman, I brought home a Bench Dog NO. 4 1/2 Smoothing Plane. What a great addition to my tools!, and for the right price.

If you are going for the 'Store Closing Sale', a lot of the more desirable and common items are already picked thru. Also, they aren't discounting any item at all that has a power cord!!!

First , David and Mark are excellent workers. I am still very new in the woodworking world and get intimidated when talking to someone who has years of experience. David and Mark do not make you feel that way. They talked to me in a way that makes you feel like you have years of knowledge. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted immediately by David. He answered all the questions I had and Mark helped me with questions about epoxy. I could not recommend these two gentlemen any more. Orland park ,IL Rockler

My boyfriend and I took the ring turning class. It was the first time either of us had ever done turning! The instructor was so patient and explained everything wonderfully. We will definitely be back for another class.

Your Manger Tom in Orland park il will.mislead you to.make a sell .I have a cnc wood shop I am going to post everything I can to tell.poeple not to go to oralnd park.what he does is discussing. He will make a sell and lie to you to make it.there no way I will tell anyone to shop at rockler.i am posting that and telling customers that.horrible

Took a wood turning class. It was really cool. My instructor Donna was great. Really knowledgeable and patient with all of us. Small class sizes of 4 people really ensure she was able to be hands on with all of us. I'd highly recommend if you want to get into wood turning. Thanks Rockler!

Failed experience……. my last visit was disappointing for sure. Went into to purchase a router full setup for a project, included the letter stencil kit, bit, and new plunge router combo. Was assured had everything needed for my project that planned for that evening. Come project time was missing a base plate needed for the suggested router that was purchased. The reason I went to Rockler to purchase this setup aware the cost would be at least 25% more than online was to assure everything needed would be there with one trip (as I live 1/2 hour away from the store) and avoid running around multiple times. So since my plans were blown for that day, jumped online and paid 40% less for the stencil kit, and grabbed the router and bit for 20% less than the store. Understanding people make mistakes, but for the higher cost these “experts” need to slow down and make sure the advise they are offering is correct to justify the higher cost.
