Dr. Lauren Tassone at Prairie State Veterinary Clinic is FANTASTIC! It is easy to see she LOVES animals, especially with the care and attention she gave my dog, Ruby. Dr. Tassone thoroughly checked Ruby for every issue I was concerned about and also took time to answer each and every question I had about her health issues. Ruby has been seen by each doctor at Prairie State Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Norton, Dr. Treat and Dr. Wojciechowski. Each doctor is very caring, knowledgeable, and wants the best for their patients. Every one of the vet techs are fantastic! They all are very helpful, kind and caring. Finally, all the ladies at the front desk are wonderful. They are always friendly and helpful. Ruby is a beloved member of my family and I want the very best care for her. I am very happy and pleased with the care and attention Ruby has received over the years at Prairie State Veterinary Clinic. Thank you Prairie State Veterinary Clinic! ?

We have been coming here since Dr. Fleming was still on staff. The doctors, techs and staff are always so patient and great listeners. I feel that my pets are in true loving hands, like my fur babies are theirs as well. I always recommend Prairie State to anyone who asks for a referral. Thank you for always taking great care of our extended family members!

Love, love, my dogs vet Dr. Tassone she’s the real deal…and we travel from Chicago to Orland Park, because of the great care our dog receives there, clean, professional, & all the staff from the front desk to the vet technician are wonderful. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

For nearly a year I've had the privilege of working with Dr. Norton for my diabetic and blind dog. Dr. Norton is very caring, compassionate, intelligent and well-educated in veterinary care, including post-graduate work in internal medicine. In addition, he has decades of experience, has excellent judgment and is considerate and fair. His work is very reasonably priced. Dr. Norton is always willing to explain the problems, both medical and practical, and gives a clear explanation while being patient and caring. His dedication, knowledge, experience and very caring attitude make him the finest veterinary doctor one could hope to have.

Since Dr. Fleming left and this practice was bought by Big Veterinarian, it's awful. You kicked my Yorkie out. She was upset, trembling, and scared. But YOU had to make a point. You had asinie "rules" during the lockdown. You deleted my original review. If you were honest, you would delete all the 5-star reviews from back when Dr. Fleming was running the practice. Your reviews are misleading people. Bait and switch. BEWARE!

Dr. Norton and Dr. Tassone and Dr. Jil are highly competent and give excellent care. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. This past visit I appreciated Dr. Norton's willingness to take the time to explain to me his reasoning and the research behind the recommendations that he makes.

Had 2 dogs that were patients here. (customer for 20 years). Today my 13 year old dog had some major issues and needed to be seen. They told me the doctor was booked and go to an ER. I wanted my dog to see the vets that knew her and took care of her for 13 years and they couldn't be bothered. I took her to another office that I wasn't a patient at and they saw her immediately. Treated her with care and compassion, talked to us about what's been happening and unfortunately we had to put her down. I will never bring another pet to this facility. Very uncaring when they are needed.
