Great vet & very reasonable! Friendly staff. No waiting-in & out! Called about my dog not doing well & was able to see him the same day.

Highly recommend Dr Linda Attig and her staff at Orland Small Animal Clinic. Have been taking my cats and dogs here for some 30 years. To the one angry reviewer: If you don't ante up for the proper tests to confirm or refute a diagnosis, especially in an elderly dog or cat, then don't complain when it turns out to be something different than initially thought. Blood tests alone will NOT give you a complete picture of the situation, which can devolve VERY quickly through no fault of the vet. Been there, done that. Don't blame the vet if it's a rapidly progressing disease, which kidney failure can be. Animals can't talk and tell you the issue.

I just put my family's dog down last week. We were going to this vet for months with, what we were told were intestinal issues. Well it got worse and we had to rush him to Premier Animal Hospital. We were there 30 minutes when they came back and told me it was late stage kidney failure and he had a heart issue. Orland Small Animal clinic is a joke. Premier gave our little guy a shot to get him through the weekend . When we walked into Orland Animal clinic to put him down, the reception, old grey hag, says to my aunt "are you sure he's ready". I could have put her through the wall. This place is awful and I would strongly say DON'T EVER GO HERE!

I feel bad leaving a bad review however I want others to be aware of this because it seems as though we were given wrong information on how to treat our cat. We've been taking our pets here for over 20 years. In the beginning of January, our cat stopped eating. He had blood work done and we were told it was his liver failing..or hepatic lipidosis. In order to reverse this, they need to be fed aggressively. We were given Hills Prescription A/D wet catfood and were told to force feed a half can mixed with water per day. A normal healthy adult cat should eat 1 can of cat food per day. How is a HALF can of cat food aggressive feeding?? Plus, on the Hills Prescription website for this cat food under 'Feeding Guide', a cat with hepatic lipidosis and who is 10-15lbs should be fed 315ml-427ml of food per day. What the vet told us was 78ml!!!! Not only that but I've seen many other vets say that force feeding should be avoided because it makes them want to stop eating all together. What we were told was slowly starving our cat and he ended up having to be put down. Looking back, I think more could have been done to save him but it seems the vet had decided as soon as she walked in the room based on how upset we were that he should be euthanized.

I hate to leave a negative review, but it’s important for pet owners to be aware. I took my cat here a few months ago for a check up, because I noticed one of his lymph nodes in the neck felt larger than the other. He is a young and otherwise healthy cat, but I wanted to have some testing done on this and the vet shrugged it off and said it’s “normal”. Any concerns I had weren’t taken seriously. Appointment felt rushed. I decided to believe her, which is my fault. Fast forward to a few months later and I noticed my cats lump was NOTICEABLY larger. We took him to a different vet and he does in fact have an enlarged lymph node and will need all this testing now while we try to figure out the cause.I left two stars because the pricing at this location is very affordable compared to other vets. I would just caution other pet parents to really push for having your concerns listened to. You know your pet best, insist on additional testing if you know something is wrong or go elsewhere.

Our cats got the most basic of wellness exams, the doctor just literally looked at them, ears, eyes etc and 10 seconds later its done. That's it. $25 dollars eachish. Doctor shrugged off any extra tests so we could make sure theyre all healthy going forward because they were young. I guess they dont believe young cats can get sick or show any possible hereditary diseases.Few days later our cats started scratching their ears a lot so its possible they had caught fleas over there too and we had to treat them with a home remedy. Just an awful experience.

All my animals use to go to this hospital. I brought in a dog that was very sick, the hospital claimed the dog was just a diabetic. We took it to another animal hospital who informed us that the dog had liver disease and had to be put down. I will not be bringing any of my animals back !
