I went here to pick up a printer that was already paid for by my boss.. Didn't have my order number but had my boss's name. She said she can't help me without an order number. Katie stated it was put back on the shelf and I should've come before 10 days. I left the store. I called the store 30 minutes later and talked to Katie she asked me nothing about an order number just the name. Then she told me the item was picked up. She was rude and condescending and I still dont have my printer that was already paid for. Very poor customer service. Where's my printer Katie???!!!!

I went in to print labels for a prom. First representative, young lady with braids, didn't speak. I asked for what I needed an immediately she said it won't be today. Maybe 24 hours. As I was asking was it because of the quantity the gentleman said what you need. I explained and he kept cutting me off until the point I had to breathe and let him finish. He stated labels on the wall. I advised him that I don't need labels but I will be cutting myself. He stated that the paper again was on the wall. I then asked does he carry size A4 paper? He said yes and still walked me to wall. He stated I'm trying to help before I get off so email it here. Every ten seconds he stated I don't got it. Yes, I don't "got" it. I stated I'm downloading pdf file and he said that I sent without pdf. Which was true because he kept pointing and telling me he was getting off. I told him forget it. I will go to another location because I just did this a few days ago and had no issues. He grabbed his hat and left. This was by far the worse experience ever!

I wish I would've have taken the young lady's name at the front counter. Walked in yesterday and told me from the get go I couldn't return my item there (online purchase) she informed I have to go to a bigger store because they couldn't take it. With not additional explanations she completely denied. She "asked" her manager through her headset and just got a NO to everything. MAKES NO SENSE! She just was not willing to help at all.

This is a terrific store to shop at for office goods and electronics like computers and printers.The customer service is amazing every single time I come here. The sales associates are always very helpful and they try their best to make you feel welcome. They play great music and the store is always upbeat. Ms. Dee and Peggy are so nice!!!! I love it here!

I work for a nearby business and have always gotten our supplies and printing done at Office Depot. Print services have gotten very pricey and per the manager, all print services not take 72 hours. It is a corporate decision. We needed 50 pages laminated and were told it would be 72 hours. I complained that we always get them next day - doesn't matter, 72 hours. They were suppose to be ready Friday. On Monday went to pick them up and they weren't ready. Took them on the previous Tuesday and still weren't ready Monday am. Maybe around 2:00. At 2:30 received a call - not going to be ready until after 4:00. Ordered supplies 2 times in a row and the orders were wrong. Takes 20 minutes on the phone to get a return. No longer going to Office Depot. Wanted to support local business but the new management is awful. Amazon is cheaper and more reliable. Stay away.

I used to work at this store location from July 2018 to January 2020. The print center was always ran with efficiency, and was manned by knowledgeable, helpful employees. I got there at 11:50, I walked to the self-serve machines and both were not working. *sigh* There were some people in the store waiting for printing, so I let an associate know I was there for printing. As I waited, I browsed the store, and saw a box that was going to be thrown away on the ground near the back corner of the store. I took the box and was going to use it. Why would it matter? They were going to trash it. The general manager informed me that they sell boxes here, so they cannot give me a box for free.. Whatever, I bought an oversized box for 2 small books. I waited about five minutes for the other customers to finish up, once they did, it still took Ronald nearly 30 minutes to print and ring me up for 2 simple B&W sheets of paper. The best of all of this is that Ronald added a $2.50 fee because they apparently have a printing minimum now. He had to manually add this in, the system does not automatically add this in. I worked at the office depot in downtown Chicago on Grand Avenue until it closed on November 14th, 2020, we did not have a minimum printing fee. They charged me this fee even though their self-serve machines were down. They seriously couldn't waive it? Its not my fault their machines were broken. On top of all of this Ronald is extremely annoying and honestly pretty condescending. Office Depot is a dying corporation, I get it, you guys are struggling, but you don't nickle and dime your customers to make up for loss of revenue. You adapt, change, and innovate. Do yourself a favor and go to the FedEx Office on Sunrise Lane, seriously.

Very slow service from the employees as well as poor customer service. No sense of urgency from employees, there were several people waiting in line and the employees allowed the customer being helped to answer a phone call and scroll thru her notes before finishing printing what she needed. I came in looking to get a few copies of my resumé printed and when the employee handed me the paper I asked if they had resumé paper and he said "no". I then asked if they really had zero card stock in the whole store and he said "oh no we have card stock". Sorry you don't know card stock and resumé paper are the same but why am I educating the employees on this? I'm not exaggerating that it took him 22min from the time I handed him my flash drive to the time he finished answering phone calls for mobile pickups to him handing me the printed card stock. Ridiculous. Management needs to hire more people if they need more help. I won't be back.

I walked in and was greeted by a rude "hey, do you have a question" from the only women running around as I stood next to the printer register. With a smile, "I am wanting to get some prints done". She made it very clear she was overwhelmed BUT YET had 3 other employees working with her just walking around. Only me and another customer in the store at the time. She was bad mouthing the other customer on her walkie as I patiently waited next to the register. I am always happy to wait but this women made it very clear if I didn't need one print then I should leave and come back at 3 or at another time. I have come for the last 3 years to this location and NEVER had an employee be so rude and make me feel that I was inconveniencing her life. I ended up going to FedEX down the street and was welcomed by all employees on staff with 5 or more customers also in shop. Will continue my business with FedEx for all printing needs!

Brought in a small order for printing 100 business invoices. I was told they'd be ready in 24 hrs but when I called 24 hrs later my order wasn't finished. I was told it would be done later that day. Later that day no call came from Office Depot so I had to call to check but Barb, who my call was transferred to when I asked for someone in print, put me on hold after telling me my order wasn't ready and she didn't know why because it wasn't her department. She then disconnected the call. When I get to the store, my order is not ready. After I told the supervisor this wasn't acceptable, she proceeded to finish my order and refunded the cost. I won't be using them for printing anymore. It was too much trouble. I only gave them 3 stars because I received a refund.
