When I pulled up to the Big River store, my first thought was, what happened to NB?So I went in with a pair of NB shoes that I felt were defective, because whenever I wore them my left foot would ache.Their sales rep Blake, did a great job. He explained that I probably needed a wider shoe. So he brought out a pair of the same shoe, just wider. That did the trick.So we proceeded to the cashier counter where Blake processed the paperwork, put my new shoes in a bag and said thank you.I was not charged a penny.I will continue to go to Big River Footwear, to avoid getting sent down the river by a discount shoe outlet.Great customer service Blake, keep it up.

Didn't have the style we were looking for. The tech was good but the style was off and for the cost more options should be available. Nearby competition provided tech and style at a lower cost.

Went to the store not sure whether I was going to buy shoes or not but my salesman Denton custom measured my feet with a computer and showed me that they have a perfect fit at the location. Bought the shoes and I'll never regret it. Thanks denton!

Great experience! Impressed with their technology to accurately and precisely measure my feet. Based on my foot measurements I was offered four different styles of shoes. The gentleman assisting me was knowledgeable about his products and able to answer any questions I had. I left thoroughly satisfied.

Kevin could not have been more helpful from measuring my foot to finding the best shoes to fit my feet!! Most impressive was how he helped my daughter and I find shoes while servicing at least two other customer parties all the while making each of us feel that he was devoting equal time to all of us. I visited today with my son because he wanted the 574 new balance and the store rep Pat was very helpful and patient. He even measured my son’s foot because his feet is very wide & sometimes he has to get a size bigger for more room. I appreciate your help Pat thank you so much!

They don't answer the phone even after I called 10+ times over 2 days. I decided to drive the 55 minutes to the Orland store. I walked in and neither employee managed to greet me. I still searched for the product I needed and couldn't find it. I went to the counter to ask the young lady for assistance and she did a full roll of her eyes. I felt as if I were bothering her by asking for help. Turns out they didn't have what I needed. Poor service and a waste of time.

I have been coming to this particular store in Orland Park for my gym shoes for some 10+ years. I LOVE the idea of AMERICAN MADE shoes that I can walk INTO an actual store and purchase! It's truly a wonderful feeling.But the class of staff has surely diminished over the years. On the day I came in to purchase my shoes I had to ask the guy on duty where the 990’s were and even then he only showed me the gray & black ones on the wall. No other options. I came in wearing the purple ones I bought last year. I wanted something a little different - he said that's all he had in the women's 990's. A bit disappointed yet I was still happy enough that you had the one of the colors I was thinking about (gray) and I was on my way up to the counter to grab some socks and check out when I spotted this amazing blue color and THEN I noticed they were my 990's! I asked if they were (the 990) & why he hadn’t shown them to me - he said yes but they were men's. I then had to ask if they CAME in Women's. He said yes. I THEN had to ask if I could order them! (you see where I’m going with this? It was like pulling teeth without novocain... painful!)While I wish I could stop there, but… no can do. I received my nearly $200 purchase in the mail and I do love them. But I had received a 25% off coupon that I tried to use and the store told me I couldn’t use it because you are not “affiliated with” that aspect of New Balance??? That’s not my fault. That’s not fair. Maybe you might consider a little bigger “loyalty discount” or something? For instance after you’ve shopped at THAT store for over 3 years or after 5 years or after 10 years or made X number of purchases from that store you get 25% off.Something to consider.Thanks!
