Marianos is a wonderful grocery store. It can be a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for the produce is amazingly fresh and the quality of the meat is very good. I particularly like the hot food section where they have meals cooked there and ready to be warmed up when you get Home. The bakery is phenomenal. Every single person on the staff has been nothing but helpful on each one of my visits I would recommend.

Like anything that's owned by Kroger's, this was a good store when it was originally owned by Mariano's, now it's become one of the most expensive grocery stores in the area, I could drive their in 5 minutes but avoid it and drive twice as far for better prices.

Consider keeping an eye on your fresh meat net weight on the label compared to the actual weight. I bought an item that was only 74% of the listed weight. They made good on a refund of the excess charge, but that entailed me driving 12 miles round trip and re-packaging the product. Should have gotten the item for free after schlepping it around to be re-weighed. Buyer beware!

This by far is one of the nicest Marianos I’ve ever been in. It was very clean. Well stocked lots of great choices. There is a stand donuts. They also have a wine bar area and a very nice cheese selection. We were very impressed and we will come back to shop.

Went in yesterday(2/8) at 3:30 to buy a very large bunch of flowers for my mother’s birthday….3 workers were all standing together & talking. I was looking for quite awhile and really wanted a display from case or multiple bunches wrapped together. Based on my observance of the service I would receive I decided not to “interrupt” their conversation to ask for help- even though I was standing right next to them for a short time. Really a shame when it appears like 3 lady workers are all working in floral department but never offer any help. I purchased 3 bunches & wrapped up myself.

The self checkouts are ridiculous, you would think that they will make it easier for you but no takes way longer and the machine keeps calling for assistance.

Saturday evening. No Register open, only self check outs. Thank you. It was my last visit there. I'm quiting it like I quitted Walmart after they had mostly or only self check outs open.

At 5:00 p.m. just in time for the after work rush one register open and one side of self checkout. So literally two people working the front end at this time, that's not right.

My recent experience at this store was the following. I went to the meat counter to get some meat to BBQ. The lady behind the counter wearing a Durag with Apple earbuds inserted in her head could not understand anything I ordered so I had to yell so ever customer and employee in the store would hear my order. I tried to verbally express my request and even pointed at the item but she would not bend down to see what I pointed at. After the second item I ordered I had enough and finished what I was going to get h there. Then at the cash register this older lady could not figure out what was in my produce bag and the bagger kid had to tell her that it was green onions. So she punched in some numbers and the price of $.99 showed up. I told her it was only .79 cent each and she just shook her shoulder and did not make any corrections. At this time I was fed up and just left. There are so many other stores I can go to with less trouble. Last trip there for me

FYI ~ I'm generally a "brand " snob when it comes to salty snacks. I always prefer Lay's. Recently, due to the price of snacks these days and after bypassing Lay's I considered NO snacks. Then I decided to try a bag of Kroger corn chips (Fritos). Bravo ~ as good ~ maybe better ~ than my snob brand. So today I bought crunchy corn curls (Cheetos) ~ pretty darn good. Half the price and so far so good!!! Potato chips are next.

we were visiting from out-of-town and needed some grocery items, etc. we didn't know how to go about signing up for the card as well as the instant clip coupons, so i thought i would ask and went up to the baked goods counter and a young gal by the name of Sarah was super friendly and helpful. she took out her phone and showed us how to go about signing up, etc. thank you Sarah for offering best-in-class service! Mariano's is such an awesome supermarket! we picked up some groceries and sat at the tables inside Mariano's to have a picnic of sorts. that area had beautiful plants and a water sculpture of sorts. really relaxing and calming after a very long day! this supermarket caters to many different tastes with all sorts of delicious pre-made foods. lots of fresh produce and very well stocked. thank you very much for such a beautiful supermarket, one stop-shopping, and hiring great staff! looking forward to future visits for sure!

They are somewhat pricey compared to Jewels or Meijer’s, but they carry specialty items that neither of those stores do. The layout here is a tad confusing compared to the store in Frankfort, but other than that I really like it.

Spent a bit of time shopping and having a $2 Modelo at the walk up bar. Everything was great until I decided to head to the men's room before hitting the road. Sadly the state of the bathroom was such that I had to walk back out. I survived getting back home. What really irks me is what about folks who have a small child, an accompanying senior or a medical condition? The space was horrendous and really reflects on the Management at this store. I've never had this issue at the Frankfort location and may not return to the Orland Park location. Very disappointed.

"Digital deals" are great but my fellow seniors and I cannot easily access them, sooo, we don't bother trying anymore. Multiple attempts just get the runaround. The "preferred customers" are not seniors.

Store has really gone downhill. Not sure if it’s the result of new management or ownership. Store and parking lot are always dirty. Woman fell was injured as the result of spilled produce left unattended. Disappointing.
