Side mirror was popped out. I could not pop it into place and wiggled around while driving being mostly useless. I didn’t want to force it and really break it. Took it to Lightning Auto for the first time. The owner carefully popped it into place for me within a few minutes. Since it was a quick fix he didn’t charge me anything. Because he was kind and nice. A few weeks later I took the car back to have the front brake pads and rotors replaced. He put in Akebono Performance brake pads. Breaks work good. Very pleasant experience. Fair pricing. I would return again with any of my other cars.

My AC went out during this heat wave. My mother and I were googling a lot of places because our old family mechanic doesn’t live out here anymore, we found Lightening Auto and the reviews were great and they all turned out to be true! As a woman, I get nervous going to mechanic shops for fear of being taking advantage of and have had my share of experiences. Coming here was the complete opposite. The owner is so knowledgeable, funny, and he made me feel so comfortable, I felt like family. Lol! The problem turned out to be a leak in my condenser so I had to get it replaced. He fixed it in little time, the very same day which was so convenient and I am so happy. He saved me from this heat wave and with super reasonable pricing without breaking my pockets, lol! Thank you, I’ll recommend this shop to everyone and I think my family has found its new mechanic.

There is a reason why he has five stars. He takes the time to explain what’s going on. He is transparent. He has decent prices. He took my car when I took it to someone else who wouldn’t take it because it was too hard to fix so he is clearly knowledgeable. He got me a warranty on a part and followed through with the warranty when it didn’t work. He makes me feel comfortable as a woman going to a mechanic which is important to me.

My car was making loud and unusual noises when turning. After being referred to Ray by a family member, I decided to take my car to him to get it checked out. Ray was able to quickly identify the issue and fix it. Not only was he quick, he provided a thorough explanation as to why my car was making that noise. I am not from the immediate area when my brakes started making a noise and appeared to be getting worse every time I had to break: still an hour away from home. Arrived at 3:25pm without an appointment and departed in less than an hour. One of the inside brake pads has stuck and just wore down the pad and about a 1/4 inch of the rotor. I had the front brakes and rotors replaced as well as all the equipment lubed up for a very reasonable price. Ray and the Crew worked like a Formula 1 pit crew; it was pretty amazing. I can't believe there's not a line out the door considering my experience and a look at all the other reviews. I'll gladly drive an hour the next time I need some work on my vehicle. Thank you very much Ray and Crew!

Ray is great! Doesn’t try to charge you a fortune like most auto places does. Took my car to Honda for a diagnostic and was charged $200. I took it to Lightining Auto 4 days later same diagnostic and NO charge. He wouldn’t even let me buy lunch. By the way this business came HIGHLY recommended! Thank you Ray❤️

Ray is doing the world a favor with the way he runs his shop. Seeing so many positive reviews, I thought it had to be too good to be true, but this guy is the real deal. After getting my car towed in, Ray immediately started working on it like it was his own, answering all my questions while analyzing the car like a scientist. It turned out that we were going to need a very specific part to fix it. After discussing it with me, he was able to track one down and install it before I even woke up the next morning, giving me a price that leaves me wondering how he stays in business. Normally an auto shop is a tense environment, but the customers and visitors of Lightning Auto all seemed to be in a good mood and at ease, knowing the kind of service they are receiving, I understand why. Not only is Ray an expert mechanic, but he is more hard working, professional, communicative and personable than any that I’ve visited before. Thanks again Ray! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
