Please beware buying from this store they’re scamming customers!!! They over charged me and REFUSED to correct the issue. I purchased items that were labeled at 70% discount but they only gave me a 40% discount. When I called to inform them of the mistake, they told me they can’t fix it.
They removed all price tags from items and putting discount signs that they aren’t honoring. This is clearly an attempt to scam people so they can make a few bucks before they close their doors. Shady companies like this are the reason brick and mortar stores are going downhill. With that type of attitude, I can see why they’re are going out of business.

The one star is for the poor cashier who seemed to be the only one working and trying her hardest even though she was new. For the rest of the store it’s a 0 for me. The manager was dismissive to me and her coworker (cashier). I felt bad, I just went in for a pickup order that I thought would be easy but there was a line of people. When I finally got to the front my package could not be found. I waited for like 15-20 minutes while the cashier took other customers and in between she tried to check the computer for my package. The cashier repeatedly radioed for assistance that never came. The cashier finally tells me to go look for her manager. I found her, chatting with another coworker, organizing sale signage. I explained I was there for a pickup and was dismissed to the front. I had to explain to the manager that her cashier was overloaded in the front of the store so she needed to step in and do something so she finally got my package for me. I feel bad for the cashier and for all the customers that also waited in that long line due to poor communication.

How unfortunate!
I have been to this Joann's fabrics location in different months since last year and it is horribly dirty and messy!
I thought last year that it was because of the season they came in but we are already in February of a new year and the store is getting worse and worse!
Dirty, disorganized, you feel so bad and depressed that your run of the store right away! 😔

I get they are closing but that's no an excuse for horrible customer service. If something scans at 1 price by an employee's handheld or online that price should be honored at check out.

0/10. Every time I go, it is more disorganized. There are aisles that you cannot walk through because of all the poorly organized checkouts. The store is very dirty, I have never visited a Joann like this. Every time I have gone, there are only two employees, one person in the fabric area and the other at the cashier and neither of them know anything. You ask them about something and they just say that there is nothing because they cannot serve the customers.

Went to Joanne’s today around 7:15 pm to look at the cricut press. Ask the lady in fabrics if she could help with a cricket product. She said no she didn’t know anything about cricut. Waited by the cashier until the last person checked out and ask her about a cricut press. I wanted to know if they were in stock so I could buy one because there wasn’t any on the shelves. She said probably and they might be in the back but, she didn’t want to check because there would be a lot of delivery in the way. She told me to order online. I needed the press quickly but realized that she didn’t want to help. Her name was Peggy in the Orland Park IL store. Do better Joanne.

If I could give this location a negative star, I would. I can’t believe how I was treated as a customer by the store “manager”, AMY. I had placed an order online that never delivered to my home, so I went to the store to ask about it. Upon being directed to this specimen of a “manager”, she immediately tells me that my “situation” with the online order that I placed has nothing to do with her or her store and that I will need to call the customer service line to address. Listening to her tone, I asked her why was she speaking to me like that and then immediately she started to walk away while telling me she didn’t need to deal with me. If you are a store manager, there needs to be a skill level around having customer service and conflict resolution versus just avoiding the issue right away. She is a horrible representative of JoAnn’s and seriously needs training.

I hate to add fuel to the fire here but this store is terrible. I haven’t ever seen it neat or tidy in any way. I was there yesterday and it was particularly bad. The customers all play an equal role here: there were 3 drink cups left behind on the shelves, I even saw a half eaten slice of pizza. It’s not that hard, as a customer, to throw your garbage away. Or maybe not rip things open that u haven’t paid for… Overall, it’s just really hard to find anything here, a lot of the customers are slobs, and I just don’t want to support the kind of corporation that won’t adequately support their staff. This place doesn’t have to be like this.

Placed an order to drive up and pick up. Followed my email instructions. Sat in spot for 30 minutes. No one comes out. Sign says to call number if you’re waiting a long time. I call 10 times and no one answers EVER. Finally go inside and one person working 3 different positions don’t waste your time ordering and picking up. In fact don’t even waste your time going there. One employee!!! Pathetic!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!horrible return polices. Just a crappy company . Picked my ornaments up and 2 were broken because they were just thrown in the bag. Store was out of them but online had them. Would not replace. Also love the online phone and how they threaten you with their lawyer as soon as it answers before you talk to someone.

This place is always a mess and you can never find anyone to help you. Not sure if they do not have enough help??? If that is the case then they need more staff. It look like a dump in there. Things just thrown all over and nothing is stocked.

That store is in absolute disarray. It’s messy, the shelves are disorganized. There are boxes completely a covering areas to shop (picture frame accessories). No one is around if you need help.
