That old man Robert isn't very helpful. Had a 7 iron head put to a new shaft and it lasted 20 swings before it flew off. Ended up they didn't remove something out of the new shaft so the iron head did not fit in all the way. Anyhow i took it back to get reglued/fixed and I shopped around and had $60 worth of items purchased before I went back fo figure out what the deal with the club was. I figured they would remove the obstruction from the shaft & re-glue the iron head no charge. Well good Old Robert decided that he wanted a receipt. If the guy really wanted proof he could have looked it up in their system. I just walked away and told him I was returning my items that I had purchased. Lost a customer for life.

I just want to take a moment to personally thank Robert in the Golf Services area at this location. He took the time to fix my putter on the spot for me - which I had not expected to be an option. He is a professional and a valuable asset to Golf Galaxy! I was able to use it again the very same day.Thank you Robert!!

We walked into golf galaxy and the employee at the front was putting and didn’t greet us. Then we proceeded to use putters and the employee was in our way using various putters himself. My husband asked where putter covers were and the employee said in a brown bin in the back and didn’t show us where they were. We had several questions that were not answered. Would not give this store a dollar.

I want to edit my review. I originally left 2 stars as indicated below with my post sale experience. I did however recently receive a message from their team/store leadership and greatly appreciated not only his desire to want to understand more but also his transparency and honesty and more importantly moving the relationship forward. We’ll be going back for sure.They completely missed the mark on helping me manage my custom club order. After having a custom fitting session and taking my money for the order I placed that day, I heard nothing for several weeks and had to keep following up with Golf Galaxy asking for updates on my order. I had to call GG 3 times before getting anyone that cared to call the manufacturer for an update, and that's only after I said I wanted a refund and said I would have chosen a different manufacturer had they properly educated me on lead times. It now seems as though all that they wanted that day was a quick sale from a new golfer...I definitely won't be spending any more of my $ at a GG or a DSG.

I went in to get my clubs regriped. They knocked out 11 clubs in under 1/2 hour.

I had some time running errands and popped back into GG to get my driver regripped. There was Casey and he said hello and couldn't be any kinder. As we were talking, he asked how my swing was and I told him it was better but I'm stuck in a couple of spots. Right there, he said let me see your swing....so I hit a couple of balls and he tweaked a couple of issues he saw. I was striping them and it was like a lightbulb went off. After all these years, he saw this one small error that produced major issues. I just couldn't believe he was able to see this issue and know this was the cause of my inconsistent shots. Amazing.....he's got a gift for sure. I got done with Casey and saw Billy again, and before you knew it, we were doing exercises to increase the legs and core. Billy couldn't be nicer and looked at my swing again to reinforce what Casey had found. AMAZING PLACE! I went into there to get some grips done and I came out of there with 2 friends and a swing that I know will produce greats results. Thank you GG!

I had a great experience with the Golf Galaxy in Orland Park. In the market for a retirement gift of a new set of clubs and GG was recommended by a few of my golf friends. So glad I followed their advise. I no longer hit the door and was greeted by a friendly associate. Since I've never shopped for golf clubs before, I was told I would need to set up a fitting appointment. I thought I would have to schedule a time and come back. Instead, I was introduced to Robert, who started the entire process on the spot with no waiting. The process was pretty amazing and Robert was very helpful. He tried out different club configurations and was very patient with me and all of my questions. He spent a lot of time with me in the simulator and explained all the different numbers, which helped guide me toward the set I would end up purchasing. I highly recommend this GG location!

Matt was the reason I chose to buy from here. He was awesome. He took me around to all the different irons and did a full explanation of everything. He then selected several different kinds for me to try.. we put tape over the brand name so I couldn’t “try” for one I really wanted but had false hope with.. I bought an expensive set but it was the right set.. thanks Matt! I’m glad I came here and will continue to do so.

If you need something you can just grab on your own they are perfectly fine. If you need to talk to someone or are looking for clubs, I'd look elsewhere. I felt like I was bothering the guy behind the counter. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this location. I'm pretty sure I was the only customer in the store. Maybe its just me...?♂️

I have no problem with the store but they are careless with there regripping. I have gotten many different clubs gripped here over several years and had to learn to grip stuff myself. Some stuff will be given back severely twisted and shows they are careless even when first applying it. Avoid this store for any regripping if you can.

I was in the store to buy a Taylor made sim max 2 driver. They only had regular shafts for I need stiff. This is a brand new club but for what ever reason they had very little options for Taylor made. I asked the associate if I could switch a stiff shaft from one of the other Taylor made drivers seeing as how they were both new and was told no. I guess with covid they could care less about making customers happy. I called the pga store and asked the same questions and was told that was no problem, but they had plenty of the specific driver in stock. Don't waste your time. The store is outdated and sloppy. Just go to the pga store and save yourself the trouble

Visited this location 3 times in 2 days and wasn't assisted once, with working in retail sales I was taught to treat every customer with equal respect because you don't know who is a buyer.Happy to take my hundreds if not thousands of dollars somewhere else.
