October 2024 by Jennifer
I ordered my dress on November 5th 2023 and was told my dress would be in the shop by June 2024, but didn’t actually arrive until middle of August. My wedding is on October 12th 2024 so I still had a bit of time for alterations. My alteration experience at Eva’s bridal was horrible. In general my hips are always a larger size than my top. I would repeat myself every appointment that the straps and my waist needs to be tightened to the same lady and every time her response was that I am constantly loosing weight, which isn’t the case cause I ordered a jacket from there that didn’t need alterations. On my fourth alterations appointment today (13 days before my wedding), I finally lost my mind and starting arguing with her to the point that I was shaking. The same lady told me to be respectful, however where was her respect towards me disregarding my requests every appointment, lying to my face about my weight, and not respecting my time that I live an hour away from the shop (I did let her know my commute time from the beginning). The seamstress was very apologetic and I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication between her and the other lady. The seamstress finally altered the dress to my body at this appointment that was 3 hours long of her going back and forth with altering the dress and me trying it on. During this appointment she accidentally made a hole in the mesh fabric on my chest area so she trimmed the mesh down. I’m not happy with this look so now I am taking it to another seamstress for a second opinion to see if there is another way to alter the chest area…. 13 days before my wedding. I do not recommend altering your dress here.
Update: I found a seamstress to help me fix my dress and we realized that Eva’s Bridal altered the dress too short for my height and it was done crooked. Now the new seamstress is adding length to my dress. Every part that Eva’s bridal altered was done poorly as even my waist there was a point sticking out on my hip and the back of the underskirt wasn’t trimmed so I kept tripping. The new seamstress is even redoing my bustle and adding more buttons from 3 to 5. I am now 3 days from my wedding. I can’t believe this is the kind of alterations service Eva’s Bridal offers. They completely ruined my dress.

I am appalled with your poor customer service and namecalling toward a distressed bride due to your own faults. If that’s what 36 years of experience looks like, I don’t think this line of work is for you its sad to see businesses taking away experiences that brides should have happy memories of??

July 2024 by Lilyan
In July 2023, I visited Eva’s with excitement and anticipation, hoping to find the perfect dress for my wedding. After trying on several options, I found "the one" and eagerly said yes to the dress. However, what followed in the leading months leading up to my wedding was nothing short of a nightmare.
My first fitting, scheduled for April 2024, quickly turned into a distressing experience. The dress was uncomfortably tight, and I found myself unable to raise my arms. Despite expressing my concerns, I was met with dismissive attitudes and baseless accusations about my weight. I want to emphasize that as someone who observes Ramadan, my weight remains stable during that time, and I am careful about monitoring it due to my body dysmorphia. Additionally, the fact that a custom-made thobe from another source fit me perfectly further disproves any claims of weight gain. Especially since I was sized the same exact day as the dress.
More fittings only caused more anxiety and frustration. It became evident that the measurements taken by Manal, who is no longer employed at your store due to her repeated errors (according to the employees), were incorrect. Each time, l was promised a solution, only to be met with further disappointment and excuses.
4th fitting came (18 days before my wedding)
when I was presented with my same dress that they promised to fix (3 fitting ago) yet it was horrific, despite assurances of a resolution. I was told to come in 4 days before my wedding to receive the final product.
The emotional toll of this experience cannot be overstated. As a bride, I entrusted Eva's Bridal with one of the most important aspects of my wedding day, only to have my trust shattered and my dreams dashed. While I appreciate the refund provided, it does little to alleviate the stress and heartache caused by your store's incompetence.
Wedding dress shopping should be a joyous and memorable experience, and it pains me to know that others may endure the same ordeal I did.

This was the only shop which offered me to order that certain style dress that I found on Pinterest. Hard working stuff to satisfy the client and very good at what they do! I really recommend ?

First I want to say, my overall experience was AMAZING because I was able to find a dress I ABSOLUTELY LOVED and they gave it to me for the same price as the initial dress I returned. But I do have an issue with their policy and how they handled it. My first time coming to the store I purchased the first dress I saw and i actually really liked the dress, but was on a strict budget and I had spent more than I really wanted too. So I left the store happy, but uneasy. I had decided to return the dress because my wedding was pushed back due to financial reasons, and of course they would't allow me to get a refund. Just a store credit. Mind you I never took the dress home so it was still in their possession. My issue is I feel they need to post NO REFUNDS on the wall and considering the nature of their business, they need to tell every customer this before they purchase a dress. Brides change their minds so much and the last thing you want is to be stuck with a dress or a store credit when all you wanted was to save more money. weddings are expensive and this process of finding a dress shouldn't be stressful. David's Bridal has no problem giving you a refund. They need to tell their brides this before they buy, then theres no dispute. I honestly didn't even read where it says no refunds and yes thats my fault, but once again. The excitement, pressure, and overall process of picking out a wedding dress is a lot all by itself. They should understand that. Had I not found another dress at their store, I would have been really depressed, because now I'm stuck with a financial burden I couldn't afford from the beginning. Once again staff was amazing, they even added a bushel for free and I didn't know anything about that. The dress fit me perfect so I believe it was waiting for me all along. I would definitely purchase from them again if I need to or refer them to a friend.

In love with Eva’s! Mimi the sales consultant helped me find my wedding dress! Walked in, told her my budget she picked some gowns and got the process rolling. I never felt pressured into picking a dress. Came back on Sunday and purchased the dress! Super happy with this experience! They have beautiful brand designer dresses at a very fair price! Recommend to anyone to avoid the big shops and shop boutiques first!

Lulu is so sweet and knowledgable as a bridal specialist! She really does try to nail down what you want in a dress and offers customizations! I did not feel any pressure when it came to deciding on a dress! They have a large selection of gorgeous Demtrios gowns which wows you when you walk in. Definitely recommend! You will not be disappointed!

I loved my experience here. Small boutique but has everything you need. All of the staff were very nice and super helpful—not pushy by any means. Dresses were affordable and beautiful. And the seamstress on-site was so good and so fast! Evas was a saving grace after all the other places I had been to. I feel like most of the negative reviews are from people mixing them up with the other Evas(which is 5 mins away). I would 1000x recommend this place to any bride!
