This was my first scheduled fitting for a wedding dress and I was sadly disappointed. I initially stated that my budget was $3000, and it was, although I did verbalize that I would like to spend up to $1500 if I found something that wowed me in that range.I was more than open and ready to spend up to $3000 or more, but I’m not sure my salesperson took me seriously as a buyer. In just, I think that me stating that I would like to spend $1500 because I plan to spend more on the event than the dress, altered my salespersons view of me and everything changed. My friend was late but I was told I had only 90 minutes, I was immediately asked to start trying them on to maximize time.I was shown one dress at $2500 and the other dresses were mostly from the clearance rack.I was never even offered water, neither tap or bottled or sparkling.I wasn’t offered a bouquet to try on with my dresses , but they were clearly available on a table near by.I actually found a dress that didn’t fit and would need alterations for $600. The attendant said I’m going to see what I can do. She came back and said , if I bought it today I could walk out with it for $600 , but if I waited until tomorrow, it would be $650. ?At that point I stated that I needed to sleep on it and decided to leave. The attendant was nice but I didn’t feel welcomed, or special or anything , at all for such an important event in my life.I don’t know how I felt during or after the appointment, but it was a learning experience in salesmanship.

Didn't have the best experience here. Though this is a salon with a very large selection of dresses, there are several things I didn't like: 1. No pictures are allowed. I went to 6 other bridal salons in Illinois and not a single one had a problem with this. Apparently Eva's designers don't allow them to take photos since the gowns are exclusive to the store. Maybe this is true, but it wasn't a problem at other stores for the same designers. It's so hard to remember after trying on a bunch of dresses and feels like you have to make a quick decision in the moment which I didn't appreciate. 2. For some gowns, they won't tell you who the designer is until you buy the dress. What? How do you purchase something without knowing who made it and what the designer's reputation is for quality? That felt sketchy. Literally no other salon did this. 3. There was quite a bit of pressure to purchase the same day. Though I understand the logistics and timing complexities, you can get the message across in a more gentle way. 4. Too much flaunting about how one of the designers is a friend of the salon and how exclusive some of the gowns are. Felt a little stuck up and unnecessary. The gowns should (and mostly do) speak for themselves. 5. Super high prices for alterations and any changes to the gowns. I ended up going with a place that included all changes in the original price and quoted me 1/3 of the price in alterations. 2 stars are for the large selection and pretty gowns, and another for the consultant's efforts to find the right dress. But you lost me with the secrecy and pressure.

Called to ask for a pricing on a dress. Would not give me a price unless I gave the price given elsewhere. Rude service

after going to 5 different boutiques in the city and the suburbs i stumbled on eva’s because i was interested in a specific eve lender wedding gown. when i went inside i didn’t know what to expect - at this point i was frustrated with my shopping experience and felt like no one was really listening to what i wanted to wear. Our consultant Pat played a huge part in the reason why i loved eva’s she made me feel so comfortable and instantly i felt like we were family. i felt comfortable being open with what i liked and didn’t and she was so patient. also the store manager, i can’t remember her name right but she was also completely amazing! they had the designer i wanted and i tried on about 5 dresses before settling on two i loved. i came back the next day and tried both on and started crying the moment i put the dress on and just knew it was the one. they were amazing. customer service went above and beyond.thank you again!!

Cindy was amazing. She has 35 years of experience and knew just what to do. She quickly figured out the dress my daughter wanted and was able to find exactly what she wanted! They gave us a great deal on a trunk sale gown. I highly recommend going to Eva's and ask for Cindy!

My experience at this establishment was regretfully disappointing. Do not bother coming here! I drove from Indiana to this store, hoping I was going to have the same experiences I’ve had at other bridal stores. The front desk receptionist was very pleasant. It wasn’t until I met my stylist, my experience went downhill. My appointment was scheduled at 3:00pm, I was four minutes late as I was coming from Indiana, and traffic was terrible. However, I communicated that. I was there and checked in by 3:04pm. My stylist did not come out to greet me until about 25-30 minutes later. While she didn’t apologize, I let it go. I wasn’t going to make it a big deal. The stylist’s initial introduction was a bit aggressive and unwelcoming. My mother, mother-in-law, and I, all agreed, but we still wanted to give it a chance. She wasn’t warm and friendly like I’ve experienced at other bridal stores. As I began the dress shopping process, the stylist made comments regarding my body. She humiliated me in front of my mother and mother-in-law, asking if I plan on losing weight to persuade me to buy the dress. What if I wasn’t planning on losing weight? It is highly inappropriate to make such comments regarding anyone’s weight or body type. Then I showed her a few inspo pictures and she indicated that such styles are around 5-6k ,which proved to be false because I’ve been to several boutique stores, and the mermaid style bridal dresses, also range between 2-3k. Other stylists to whom I’ve presented my inspo photos, have assembled collections of dresses to fit my preference ranging from $1,800-2,600. She’s the only stylist I’ve had that responded with such negativity. The only reason I’m still dress shopping is because I was hoping to find the style I wanted with sleeves, but I already have four in mind that I absolutely love. Anyway, the final straw is when the stylist openly snickered at me “stop pulling these sizes, they don’t fit you.” While I understand that sizing can vary across styles, and I acknowledge the need for flexibility, the dismissive tone and open criticism were not only unprofessional but also humiliating as I was in the presence of my mother and mother-in-law. You’re not going to get your exact size but bridal shopping is about finding a close approximation to your size to get a sense of how the dress will fit. She was pulling sizes 4 to 5 sizes bigger than what I wear. The dresses were so oversized that, when clipped to adjust my body, I found it difficult to assess their appearance because I felt frumpy in each one. In response, she stated, “that’s what alterations are for.” However, it’s important to have a clear idea of how a dress fits before making a purchase, as no one wants to buy a dress without being able to assess its appearance and fit initially. Overall, I find the stylist to be rude, condescending, impatient, and cynical. She ruined my overall bridal experience. The duration of my appointment was only 45 minutes so it’s not as if I occupied a significant amount of time. Throughout the session, I maintained an open and respectful demeanor, even upon leaving the store. Despite all of this, I called back to check to see if a specific style number was in stock the next day. I was set on a dress and asked my sister to check it out for me. The comment she directed at my sister implied I was only shopping the sale section. I pulled from all sections of the store. A wedding dress budget in the range of 2,000 to $2,500 is considered normal. I’m not sure why she needed to make such comment. She mentioned to my sister that I had already tried on the dress I was looking for. Honestly, I don’t recall that as my focus may have been overshadowed by the overall negative experience I had with her. Luckily, I went to DI Bridal and I found the dress I was looking for. They were so nice and helpful! Don’t waste your time coming here!

This shop is AMAZING!! Right when my sister and I got there we were kindly assisted and offered drinks. We felt heard and taken care of the whole time. I have looked at many bridal stores in our state and this was the first time that I felt like the staff was actually interested in hearing exactly what I was looking for in a dress. We drove 3 and a half hours out of state to get there and it was so worth it!! They had a huge beautiful selection of dresses. One thing I liked most about Eva's was the wide variety of bridal styles they had. It felt like I was in a movie! Easily the best experience I have ever had with a Bridal Store. I cannot wait to go back to get fitted and see all the wonderful staff again! Every bride deserves an experience like the one I had here at Eva's!

Jan 2020: I haven’t bought my wedding dress but I wanted to give Pat (Patricia) my consultant a review. I had an appointment during the Morilee trunk show. Unfortunately I was sick so I went home without really getting to look at all the dresses I wanted to. Pat was friendly, the only negative was I felt she was rushing because she was also working with another bride. Nevertheless she was as attentive as she could be.My pro for this shop is they have large amount of dresses. My con is they don’t allow photos. This is the only place of 4 that doesn’t allow pictures.

My experience with Eva's Bridal was incredible! I found my wedding dress here and my mom and bridesmaids had a wonderful dress shopping experience. We had our own space and consultant, Pat. Pat was superb - she found dresses within my budget and even convinced me to try on dresses outside of my usual style. I found the one and the alteration process was easy and a good price. The seamstress who worked with us, Srisaang, was friendly, explained everything and did a beautiful job!

Would give 0 stars. Terrible customer service. Butchered the veil. & they have extremely bad attitudes and nasty remarks for any extra alterations needed during the final fitting. Do NOT come here.
