I had a great experience with this CVS. I retired and lost my great insurance. The pharmacy manager called me to explain costs and helped me to get a coupon to drop the price of my extremely expensive heart medicine. He really helped me out.

I lived in Chicago for over 30 years and dealt with CVS pretty much the whole time. Lived in Lombard for 3 yrs without issues from that CVS. Bit this CVS, I've never have had as many issues as I have here in Orland on 143rd. You're on hold for 20-30 minutes, they say they're so busy but yet there's no one there. Medication is never filled. I just cannot believe how a Pharmacy could be so messed up as this one and nothing is being done about it. The store itself is very nice but dealing with the pharmacy is awful. I see I'm not the only one who feels this way as I e been reading through the complaints.

So this evening I went into CVS to get a card. I was clearly the only customer in the store but yet the cashier found a way to go into the exact aisle that I was in. She pretended to realign the cards but there was clearly no reason to do so. Totally unacceptable to be followed, when attempting to make a purchase in a store!!!!!!

I cannot even begin to describe the plethora of frustrating problems with this pharmacy from issues with at least 2 different pharmacists to multiple pharmacy technicians. Every time we have an issue I swear I will never return and out of convenience and not wanting to deal with potential frustrations of switching to a new pharmacy I have not. But I have finally met the end of my rope. You should think twice about using this particular pharmacy and consider driving a little bit further to go anywhere but here. If I could give ZERO STARS I would.

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. There are a few technicians that are A+, and go out of their way to do whatever they can to help you. Everytime I have gotten a script refilled here, it ends up being complicated. It's usually NOT in or they end up filling half my order. The pharmacist Isa is a real treat to deal with. He is very arrogant and has a horrible attitude. I questioned why they would substitute a different insulin for a new prescribed insulin. First he told me it was the same, and it is NOT. My doctor had to get involved, and she commented that professionally she doesn't do this, but she had to call him an "IDIOT." I have always had a great relationship with the pharmacy team at CVS, in Tinley. Looks like my family will be going back there.

Can someone please explain to the cashiers how the coupons work!! I received coupons in the mail from CVS and had my ticker tape. I had already applied items to my card and still the cashier didn't applied them to my final total. One of the main reason why I shop at CVS is to save money. This is like the fourth time the cashier hasn't applied my coupons. And tells me all use them next time ??? (theres a expiration date you can't and they won't honor them) It's really not rocket science here. Apply ALL coupons to final total! Don't even get me started on the dirty shelves in this CVS. Wipe them down!!

I go here because the coupons. Cashier apparently is the gatekeeper of coupons. Why do I have to ask the cashier to apply all coupons to my order? I don't want to use my coupons? This is the stupidest thing I've heard of. Each time I go here I have to ask the cashier if the coupons were applied to my order. Her response is always I didn't know if you wanted me to put them on the order? This should be an automatic thing. Why do I have to ask for this to be done every time?

This pharmacy is TERRIBLE!! They never have my prescription ready when they are aupposed to. This morning, I called in my prescriptions (which is supposed to be on auto-refill). It is now 1:45 PM and it's still not done. The technician tells me they are a WEEK behind!! Which explains why my auto-refill didn't happen. REALLY?!! CVS SUCKS!!! Walgreens would've had my stuff ready. The only reason I go o CVS is because of my insurance!

This is the worst CVS pharmacy. Nothing is ever in stock. Never a notification of such and they always claim national back orders when CVS down the street is always fully stocked. Countless times been told to come back in an hour only to be told they don't have it when you come back. Worst when it's medicine for your children.

Employees are nice, they need more help behind the pharmacy counter. As for the rest of the CVS the place is a mess including the parking lot and the entrance.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My mother was accused of theft after an employee "saw" makeup in her bag. She was detained, and strip searched only for the police to find nothing. After all that instead of apologizing the manager banned my mother from the store even though the police found nothing!!!! My mother took it up the corporate ladder and all they did was fire the employee who made the false claim, and unban my mother. This establishment needs to be under new management and the current manager needs to be fired.

There is a tremendous reason to avoid this pharmacy. On three separate occasions there have been different problems that are distinct and attributable directly to this pharmacy and not an insurance company or physician. Unfortunately my employer has me trapped within CVS Hell. I'll need to find another CVS branch. But if you can go elsewhere, do yourself a favor and have scripts filled at a different pharmacy. This place is NOT worth the endless frustration.
