On December 24, 2023 I took my husband's phone in for repair. When I picked the phone up I was told that I needed to go to XFINITY to activate the phone because Apple didn't have permission to do it. Long story short..Apple gave me a new phone without telling me and my husband now has to wait until Jan 24 2024 to recover his icloud information.....bad, bad business.

I just told by my friend; who works there. I love the atmosphere .It is something to go into a place , but seeing your friend after 4years;. will make me go and support Sephora again and always.The employees were all so wonderful.They're so cheerful and professional, all the same.

Terrible service here. What’s the point of having an appointment if no one helps you at that time. I sat around for 20 minutes after checking in. All these Apple employees standing around on their iPads doing nothing except socializing with each other. How about some customer service? Awful employees here. Going to oakbrook from now on.

Be careful sales person is lack of knowledge and trying to make you fool with money. Going back and found with manager on how to refund my money when you order online and pick up in store this guys will say you order online and just picked up in store we are unable to do.. the brand new phone was defective and i want it to exchange this is very rare with apple and still loosing money because they don’t know how to work on it.

Despite the numerous negative reviews, my recent experience at this Apple Store aligned with the disappointing feedback. They failed to honor my scheduled appointment, resulting in an additional 30-minute wait. Despite arriving 10 minutes early, they almost canceled my appointment, insisting I have to be there 15 minutes early. It appears that at this Apple Store, their customer service is declining, with a focus on money and rigid processes rather than customer satisfaction. Expect delays if you make an appointment. Sharing concerns about their mistakes may lead to unpleasant encounters with thin-skinned, uncooperative managers. This Apple Store's customer service needs significant improvement to regain its reputation for good service. There's a lot of room for enhancement."

I am very happy with my most recent (11/5/23) visit to the Apple Store in Orland Square Mall.My wife and I were greeted and checked in by Apple employee Markel and Apple’s Security Officer Anthony. Both gentlemen showed the best customer service I have ever seen, hands down. I swear, I’m not just saying that. They were both so friendly, outgoing, funny, knowledgeable, and professional.After Markel asked what brought us in, and I explained how my phone wasn’t charging because I thought it was dirty in the charging port, he didn’t even make me wait the 15 minutes for my appointment. He brought his tools out and solved my issue in about 2 minutes.I can’t sing praises high enough for both of these gentlemen. Usually going to Apple is somewhat chaotic, but these two employees not only made the entire visit calm and painless, but they made it a very fun experience, as well. They have the best customer service skills and work ethics that I have ever seen. To be happy and ready to help at the sight of people needing help, that is something a lot of companies could use to model their customer support skills after.Absolutely well done Markel & Anthony, and thank you both for such a pleasant experience!!

I bought an apple watch as gift for my sister but I had to return it 2 days after cos she told me she already got an apple watch. It took me 30 mins wait for them to assist me. It just baffles me cos when I bought the apple watch it didn’t take 5 mins to wait for someone to assist me but now when you return a product to them it’s gonna take forever and there’s a lot of apple workers there who’re just talking with each other with their pads. IT SUCKS!

They tell you that you won't need an appointment for phone repairs, that it'll only be an hour, but when you show up to get your phone repaired they want you to leave it overnight. Who is willing to leave their phone overnight in this day and age? Just require an appointment. Don't tell me I don't need one and then make it impossible for me to get the service I need in a timely manner without an appointment. This is my second trip to get this taken care of in the last five days and they still can't help me without me being without a phone overnight. And they told me to show up whenever, as if I don't have work like everyone does. No duh I'd love to show up in the morning, but I have work. Just like these, Apple employees are at work and can't show up to their appointments whenever.

This is by far the busiest place in town, even over big-box retailers. I’ve often said if we didn’t have an Apple Store, our mall would’ve suffered the same fate as Lincoln Mall in Matteson. I’ve also said that this store’s crowds are due to it being the furthest south Apple Store in Illinois. There also is no Apple Store at Southlake in Merrillville, IN although it would help that mall greatly. Never have had bad customer service other than during the pandemic when I was kicked out for wearing a multi-layer cloth mask instead of a surgical mask. This place was more strict than the Woodfield store on masks. Most stores were “face mask required” with no particular mask being favored.

My experience at this store is always awesome. I made an appointment and was seen right away. The ‘genius’ who helped me this time was Mona. She was extremely professional yet friendly. I had been having a problem with my voicemail for about three weeks. I had spoken to AT&T at least four times and an average of 3 hours each time. I also went to Best Buy with no success. Mona informed me that voicemail is through the carrier but she said she would do her best to help me since I had already gone to the carrier and she did just that. She explained everything that she was doing and why. When all was said and done, my problem was fixed. I can’t thank Mona enough.If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Terrible. Just terrible. I was told to wait an hour for a repair. They made me wait much longer and since the wait took so long I had to cancel and walk out. While trying to find someone to help I approached a staff member with curly hair and a mask on ( I describe her as I did not subject myself to the misfortune of asking for her name), she looks at me looks back at her iPad rolls her eyes and says check in at the back with out even asking me what I needed or letting me get a word in and then continued to ignore me. Just to be clear I did not want to check in. She was simply in a bad mood and entirely unwilling to do her job. The staff was so unhelpful and I never actually got my phone fixed.

A really BIG thanks to Tim, Alex and Jamie! These guys are the true rockstars of this Apple store. Walked in the night before to see if I could trade in two OLD iPads for a new one. I was told yes. My husband and I planned to return the next day and we did. I chose my pretty rose gold iPad air. Ran into a problem; one of my iPads was a breeze to erase and shut down. The one that was much older had not been touched and therefore, that passcode was wiped from my memory. I was blessed with my own little team of techs that were very patient and worked tirelessly trying many different ways to erase and shutdown the iPad using the computer. Nothing worked. I was only able to trade in one iPad and left stuck with the other one. I still left happy because of the quality of caring service that I received in this store from Tim, Alex and Jamie.

I’ve been here a few times (outside of my appointment time) and everyone there was friendly as can be. They’re always making sure you have what you need to be comfortable, they’re very knowledgeable, and make sure you understand everything about your product before you leave.
