It would be much better if it had more, full time staffed registers instead of one part time. Many times I just bypass getting goods here and go to a store with cashiers. Rating used to be five stars.

Prices have increased by 80 to 100%. Everything has gotten very expensive. No longer a value store. Might as well go to Jewel without the name brands.

Close, and convenient. Typically has everything I need. This particular store does not seem to stock gallons of skim milk, and closes at 8.

This location is struggling. They have had issues with road construction on multiple and long occasions. This has cut off traffic to their location. This being said they have to account for it and go the extra mile to bring in business. Unfortunately they have failed in this area. Both my wife and I have rotated grocery stores on a weekly basis for years. We finally decided to go to the Orland Park location permanently and not to go anywhere else. They earned our business early on when they first opened. But the past several weeks have left us very disappointed. Our last experience was on Friday, our usual day, and the shelves were all but empty. Basic stuff like bananas were out of stock. I asked the manager to get some out of the back and she said they did not have any. And this was across the entire store. Not paying their bills? Who knows but this is unacceptable as I had to go across the street to Jewel to get the bananas, blue berries and Honey Crisp apples which they haven't had in weeks. I want this location to succeed. Its two blocks from my house and brand new. But I will not put up with this. Shape up Aldi or I will go to one of the other three locations within a short driving distance from me.

The Aldi store on 179th . The checkout clerk today made me move my heavy water from my cart to theirs at the register. I shouldn't have to pick up heavy water twice. No offer to help. I'm an older person. don't need to do extra lifting. Aldi needs to hire people who are helpful and care.

Very nice and new ALDI on the south end of Orland Park. ALDI picked a great spot to launch a new outlet as this area is growing pretty fast, and it is just a few blocks from the METRA commuter station. As one might imagine, this ALDI is pretty much like all the others --- and I mean that in a good way. They have a nice selection of the usual grocery items, and always an interesting display of other sundries. The store personnel were very nice and helpful, the shelves were stocked and blocked, the place was spotless, and the parking lot was spacious. We always read the ALDI supplement in the weekend ads, and generally manage to find stuff we need. Give this place a try ...
