My 1950's Lane tables were in terrible condition from layers of my mother's and my cleaning products, my grandchildren's toddler years of spilling their sippie cups and messy hands, etc. 2nd Time Around Furniture Restoration did an AMAZING job of stripping them down to raw wood and matching the exact color stain as the original. They are very busy so if you are willing to wait for PERFECTION at a reasonable price, I highly recommend this company!

Drove 45 min for a small replacement spindle on a youth rocker...quote $145. It didn't cost that much to buy new. Uh no thanks.

I highly recommend Second Time Around without hesitation. I was so impressed with the work they did on my mother’s end tables and cocktail table, I had them do a cedar chest, 4 tables, a second cedar chest and much more. I have many more pieces to be done and they will definitely be the company I use to do the work. In my opinion, I find them to be priced fairly for the work they do, very timely and unbelievably professional in their quality of work. Thank you for doing such wonderful work on my furniture. They rebuilt our dining room chairs that kept falling apart. They added longer wood pegs and screws . It's been a year since they did the work and the chairs are sturdy as they can be.

Received a quote from them and they were over priced but had some good advice make sure you get a few quotes south of cook or maybe known as crook county lol

I hired Second Time Around to refinish my table and chairs, which were terribly scratched up. I also wanted to change the color from green to black. Steve picked up the table and chairs and also delivered them again in the time frame promised. He helped me pick a new stain color and satin finish, preparing an accurate sample at the shop, which was so helpful. I am beyond thrilled with my kitchen set, which was sturdy, but unsightly. Now it is gorgeous! I highly recommend this company.
