Framing is the main focus of this shop but there is a nice mix of antiques and vintage Hawaiian shirts. The owner was nice, knowledgeable, very supportive of local businesses and recommended an awesome lunch spot. My husband added 4 Hawaiian shirts to his collection and we received a discount without asking.

This was one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had while shopping. In October, my husband and I were looking at the photos hanging on the wall near the front of the store when this woman comes out with a broom and yells at us "no clinking! You clink it then you'll be buying it!" I'm still not sure how we could "clink" a painting on a wall or if she was hearing something? We tried to brush it off, but then she would follow us around the store sweeping the floor. We found a lot of cool stuff that we were planning on buying, but decided to leave since we felt so unwelcome.

Was super super friendly and welcoming. The place inside is so unique and cool I could have probably spent hours in there looking at everything. I drove from out of state for a couch and he helped me load it up. Transaction went smoothly and I would definitely recommend Dons Flamingo Palace

Def check this place out. I was there a few weeks ago. Tons of vintage items there. Atomic Era, Art Deco, Mid Century is what I look for when out antique shopping and I saw many of these here. One of my fav shops in Illinois.
