Showed up on time and immediately started the work. Going room to room, they made sure to wrap my furniture swiftly and efficiently. From start to finish they made the move a pleasant experience. They all worked non stop from morning until evening until the job was complete and made sure they had done everything I needed done. Super great people to work with. I highly recommend giving April and Bill a call!

This is a worthless moving company. First off when they get to my house two of the movers get into an argument and one of them refuses to continue with the move, so after about an hour later another guy shows up to help. Then when they get to my destination address for some reason they had loaded one of my round living room wall mirrors in the cab of the truck and the mover gets out leaves the door open an out rolls my mirror breaking it in several places along the edge. So the owner calls ask me to text pics as well as his worker text pics and tells me he has a repair guy that can replace the broken mirror edges and they take my mirror. Well it has been over a month now and we have made repeated calls to owner and the company about our mirror and get no response so at this point it looks like theses bums have stolen our mirror! This is pathetic! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! And tell anyone you know looking for a moving company to call someone else!

I just had the best experience with this moving company. They called to let me know the estimated time they will be at the house, they took the time to load everything in the truck as well as unloading at the new place. Always professional and very respectful of the property and items moved. I know they worked very hard doing their job they were hired for, but did it with such a grace and positive awesomeness. Their price is very competitive compared to other places I got a quote from. A couple of jokes here and there, just made the experience even cooler. I'm so glad I decided to hired them, it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommended 100%. They are a lifesaver, from my point of view, because my husband and I couldn't have done what they were able to do and they worked really hard and totally deserve the pay. It just felt like family members (that know what they are doing) helping us move. THANK YOU Bill and Marion for such a great experience and helping us with our move, we appreciate all your hard work.

The Movers of Omaha Illinois moved my Mom to an assisted living. I rate them 5 stars! They were reliable, professional and extremely careful with all of my Mom belongings. They even helped us arrange the furniture in the new location. Bill and Abbey are a great team. Their two other movers were equally professional and courteous. They work extremely diligent and time conscious. I recommend them for anyone moving. They certainly help streamline the process. Thank you The movers team. Jo Ann Juliano

The Movers did an excellent job moving us from Norris City to Carmi, IL. They were friendly and professional and treated our furniture and other belongings with utmost care. The Movers helped me move from Carbondale Illinois to Orono Maine last July/August (2019). They did an excellent job from start to finish. I have to move long distance again this summer. If Maine is not so far away from Illinois, I would definitely use them again.There are two things I like the most about The Movers: (1) They use a dedicated truck to ship my goods, so I can rest assured that my goods won't co-mingle with those of other households and get lost during the move, which is common in long-distance moves if you use one of those national van lines or book through one of their local agents. (2) They handle both the loading at the pick-up location and the unloading at destination themselves, so you know you'll get high quality service in both locations. In most long-distance moves, the local agent you contract with at origination simply outsources the unloading to a local agent at destination through the national van line's network, so it's hard to control quality of service at destination, which is often the source of many complaints.Besides, everyone I interacted with, from April and her daughter during the in-home survey to Bill and his crew during the loading and unloading, are professional, nice, courteous, and fun to work with. The pricing is very good too, especially considering the 5-star service they provided. The truck arrived on time for both pick-up and delivery, and they kept me informed of the progress during every step of the move. The fact that they use their own truck and crew and have total control of the process really gives them a big advantage.I should have written the review sooner, but was busy settling down when I first arrived in Maine. Now as I go through the grueling process of finding a good mover for my upcoming move to Virginia, I feel I should share my experience of my last move, so southern Illinoisans know who to call if they need help moving across the country! -Claire L.

The Movers did a great job moving us from St. Louis, MO to Minneapolis, MN. They were professional and took great care to wrap all of our items. Got the job done, easiest move we've ever had! Would recommend!

McKee Movers packed and moved us from Charleston, Illinois to Richmond, Indiana. All of the McKee folks were professional and competent, from the initial estimate to the unloading process! Not a single item was broken or damaged. Both packing and moving crews arrived on time and took excellent care of our things. I highly recommend them!

We were completely satisfied with these folks in unloading a trailer of household furniture for us. Josh and Bill were on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently! We used The Movers to move from Illinois to Lexington, KY area. From start to completion, everyone we dealt with helped us make the move easier. They arrived on time, loaded the truck in a timely manner, and reached our home at time they had given us. Josh and Marion were courteous, friendly, and worked hard to move our furniture, boxes, etc. to the locations we needed them to be. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for a move. Highly recommend The Movers.
