This Cleaners, Olympia Cleaners, is in my new neighborhood. I took clothes there to be cleaned with an expectation to pick them up on Saturday, to be ready for church the next day. But to my surprise, I saw this sign that stated, "Will Be Back in 15 minutes. Thank You." But after almost 50 minutes, no one showed up. Closing time is displayed as 5:00 pm on the door, but 6:00 pm on the voice recording. It is 15 minutes to 5:00 pm now. This is highly unprofessional. I signed up for the VIP service, but I am not sure they will get my service anymore. Many other people came to pick up their items to no avail. I saw 6 or 7 other unhappy customers leave without their garments. This is not how business should be conducted.

DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE NO LONGER A GOOD BUSINESS!!!!From the look of the last review before mine, it's not just me and this place has indeed turned terrible. I have been going to this establishment for quite some time, and the service was great. I don't know what changed or who changed things, but the service is awful, and my experience today is enough to make me never return. Firstly, the hours say 7am to 7pm for M-F . I arrived at 6:55am, waiting for them to open at 7 and no one ever came. I left around 7:27 to go to the gas station and called back to the store before i left the gas station to see if anyone had arrived since I had left. No one answered. I called at 8:18am and no one answered, but I immediately received a call back. I asked if the hours had changed because I planned my day with many errands around getting my items in, so they could be in by 9 and out by 4. Waiting when they hadn't shown up was super frustrating, but I understand that things do happen. Now here is where I got frustrated and the lack of customer service and poor management started to show, the gentleman who called me back acted like I should have known that the hours were listed incorrectly on their establishment signage as well as online. Not only that, even more problematic was the fact that he hung up on me!Right after he hung up, I went BACK to the cleaners after finishing another errand, mind you this is super inconvenient for me, but I needed to get my items in by 9am in order to have them back by 4. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought, perhaps that was a mistake! wrong! When I showed up, the gentleman was AGAIN rude and nonchalant. I have never experienced such a lack of accountability and such a dismissive attitude! I asked about being convenienced since I waited over 30 minutes, and he said there was nothing he could do. He also said my items that were turned in around 8:28am could not be serviced for same day. So not only do they provide the wrong business hours, they also provide false advertisement of the services offered, and I should bear the brunt of their professionalism? That's what the young man told me! ridiculous!When you change as a business, it's your duty to notify consumers. The hours online can easily be changed, and a sign can be put up on the door as a courtesy to inform customers. Disregard for other's time is the ultimate form of disrespect.I talked to my cousin who was the one to refer me to this establishment, and she let me know that they had lost her items and changed the receipt information to make it look like she had fewer items. She won't be returning. I've also seen similar comments in the recent reviews that I just read. I regret leaving my items with them today, and after I make this review, I will be calling back to get my things. I don't want them losing or putting holes in any of my valuable items! I for sure will not be returning here ever again.Service: Eco-friendly cleaning

?I’m sorry for the long review but customers REALLY need to read……HORRIBLE⚠️??. The new Management is so unprofessional and rude especially the self proclaimed Manager/Owner Named “T”.I’ve been going there for years, even before the new owners bought the place and when they changed the service changed. Everytime I came I spent anywhere from $50-$125 in dry cleaning. I put my clothes and my new year’s outfit in there to get cleaned on the 27th and it was supposed to be ready for pickup on the 30th but then they changed it to the 31st without notifying me. So the 31st come and I go in to pickup my clothes and the guy “T” says it’s not ready and won’t be back until Monday which is the 2nd. The tells me he is about to close so I will have to leave. So I asked to speak with the owner and he says he is the owner. This is the same thing that happened Thanksgiving holiday with my clothes with the same dude “T” there also but since it was the holiday I let it go but now again for new years . I just had to write this long review.Service: Eco-friendly cleaning

Took my coat they sent it off to leather masters came back with a whole argued with a employee they don’t have a manager but claimed my coat which was brand new just had a juice stain came like that i have been trying to get In contact with owner no luck

Took 4 pair of Levi's in everbody knows dry clean new people working they wet cleaned and shrunk all 4 pair and say it's not their fault and I'm 6foot8 inches

Have been going here for years never had a problem til now! I put a top and pants in for same day service on a say morning they closed on Sunday. Went to get them they only had my top, had no answer on my pants. I had her to call the manager who was very rude treated me like I was wrong, and refused to help me which piss me off ! I ask for the owners name. I had to apologize to the young lady working it was obvious she was following her trying and was afraid for her job. Well the manager to her to tell me to leave never even tried to figure out what happened. Oh Monday manager called trying to say she wasn't being rude, and they found my pants they where there all the time really! I still need the owners name, they need to know how this Manger is losing their business.

The new black female supposed to be manager at the counter her new staff shrunk 4 pair of my Levi's then told me not their fault but I been going there for 2 years dealing qith the Asian women and never a problem in shrinkage now wait on a call from the owner who live in another state or town I'm 6foot8inches my clothes ain't cheap or easily replaced

Never had a bad experience with this cleaners. By far my favorite. The staff is always been pleasant. I think they recently had a change in management, so far so good.

Olympia Fields cleaners is not a good place for dry cleaning in my opinion. On three different occasions I have taken clothing to be pressed(1) and 2 items cleaned. The new dress, never worn with price tag on came back with the large brooch missing all of the rhinestones. I was told that when it reached the pressing sites, the rhinestones were missing. They were not. Nothing was done after I made a complaint. No apologies were made. 2. My 2nd encounter- I took a two piece suit to be cleaned and one small stain to be removed. The suit came back not pressed, wrinkled and the stain still visible. I was told to bring it back. No apologies were offered. 3rd encounter- I took a navy dress, worn once to be cleaned and not to press the thenpleats to the hem. The dress came back with pleats pressed to the hem. Imade a complaint to 4 employees and the Manager; employees in person and the Manager by telephone. The dress was taken back to the cleaners and the pleats were not taken. It looked the same each time I picked it up. All I want you to do is take the pleats out. Very simple, no pleats. 3rd encounter-I spoke to the Manager, bring dress back, did that, same action. I asked for her name and the owners name. She gave the names. May I have a number to contact owner. The Manager stated that the owner does not want his number given out. I can take your number and have him call you. That was a week ago. I have not heard from him. Today is August 26, 2021. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and those in charge. I DO NOT RECOMMEND OLYMPIA CLEANERS FOR DRY CLEANING SERVICES.

I've been going to this cleaners for years and I haven't had issues until now. I literally had the door shut in my face!! I arrived just before they closed at 6:00 pm this evening. There was 1 customer inside and as he was exiting the door, one of the employees was following behind to lock the door. The employee and I made eye contact, and proceeded to continue to lock up the store and turn out the lights. It wasn't even at minute after 6:00 pm. It's been a few times before when arriving after closing, I was permitted to still pick up my cleaning. I will not be back!!

The seamstress here is very expensive. She tried to charge 45 dollars for changing a zipper. Be careful and know the price prior to you leaving
