Stayed here for a few days with my girlfriend, the man at the general store was super nice every time we went in, the campground was super clean, the bathrooms were clean and out site was fairly close to them. Reasonably priced, it was very peaceful and located closely to Starved Rock and Matthiasen. Will be back! :)

Overall, a pretty nice campground. They have a large gameroom, fishing pond, and wading pond. The store has some essentials including beer and ice.
The only negative about the campground is the bathhouse. The showers need to be cleaned and painted and new shower heads installed.

Beautiful place, made for relaxation, clean and tidy just as it is offered on their website, close to parks and natural reserves. 100% recommended.
