Had bits of damage on both sides of my truck -- all the damages were deep scratches and scrapes. They fixed it up brand new and in around a week. Fast, affordable, great quality and great customer service; shoutout to Tristan!
A+. Would recommend again and will absolutely go there for future use.
Update, 5/9/2024: Got my truck back from repairs a month ago and noticed that there was damage that was not there prior to its visit to Schaefer Autobody. I noticed a spot of scratches that was not there back in April, and a group of abrasions just today. You might say that I got those from driving, to which I say the damage I noticed would have been felt or observed at the moment of its occurrence. The fact that there was a big group of scratches (that I noticed) a day after picking it up points to an error in service. I check it frequently for damage and I would stake my life on the damages I mentioned not being there prior to taking it to Schaefer.

Schaefer did a great job with repair on my car. They kept me informed every two days how long it would take. They quoted me that it would take about three weeks but it was ready in two weeks. I recommend anyone who need repair or bodywork done on their car to go to Schaefer auto body and O’Fallon Illinois, I drive 2018 XT5 It looked like

Repairs where done WAYYYYY faster then anticipated, communication about repairs was great and everything went smoothly. It looks brand new and hopefully I won't need them again but if I do this is where I will go.

This is our 2nd time working with JD and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.
He is beyond knowledgeable in his field of work and will go above and beyond to provide great service. JD keeps you in touch through the whole process and not a lot of places do that.

This company took care of my car last year from hail damage and when I picked it up it looked just like the day I had bought it, so now the are repairing my stolen car that was wreck. All of the staff makes you feel like they care about you. So Nice,friendly, caring that your car had been damaged.

I cannot say ENOUGH about how incredibly pleased I am with the service we recently received at this location. My daughter wrecked her car on 12/18/23. From the very start of the insurance claims process, Tamera was a TRUE GEM!! She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and made the process simple! Once we were able to get the car in for repairs, they were accessible, provided regular updates, were responsive to our calls and questions, and ensured that everything went smoothly. And they were FAST!! Brandon was AWESOME with keeping us posted throughout the entire repair process. While I certainly don't look forward to needing their services, they would hands down be my FIRST CHOICE. EXCELLENT SERVICE ALL AROUND!!

Had an accident to the rear of my vehicle, they repaired that damage just fine, but now my keyless entry doesn’t work, and they are telling me it never did as if I didn’t use my care everyday before I dropped it off to them in working condition. Absolute trash customer service. Also many changes on the repair date which caused issues with the rental. Would not recommend at all.

I could not be more impressed with the quality of work and customer service I received at Schaefer Autobody! I took my Ford Bronco Sport to the shop after being hit in a parking lot. The angle at which I was hit required a new hood, fender, front bumper, several other minor things and repainting—so not a quick fix. When I arrived, everyone in the office was friendly and very helpful. JD walked outside with me to look over my vehicle, talk through what happened, and let me know he would be in touch later that day once they were able to get a closer look. After dropping my vehicle off at the shop they called to have enterprise pick me up and take me to get my rental (super painless)—I think the whole process took about 30minutes. Later that day JD followed up with his assessment of what my vehicle would need, his communications with my insurance, and told me he would be in touch once they received the parts and had a better understanding of the timeline. They had my vehicle about 2 weeks. JD explained because of the pastel paint color (cactus gray) it was a bit challenging to match and they were not happy with the first color so they ordered another color and blended the paint further into the front doors—truly, it matches perfectly. When my vehicle was ready for pickup, I was able to just leave my rental car there saving me a drive and JD walked me outside to go over everything that was done. He explained all the work that was done, answered any questions I had and explained the warranties and how best to reach him if I had any future issues. My bronco looked better than the day I bought it off the lot—the exterior was sparkling clean, the tires were even cleaned and the front interior was perfectly spotless (which is definitely not how I had left it). I highly recommend JD and his team at Schaefer!
