I arrived 9am for a scheduled1 1/2 hour appointment. At the 2 hour mark I inquire about my vehicle. I was told that they were having an issue with the computer. I have been waiting for hours and had to ask. I mumbled that all the people and someone could have told me of the issue. The lady in the office joins my mumbling and said we are short staffed and not seating around. I admittedly got smart and told her that I was not talking to her. I am already agitated but did not continue communicating with her. I completed a test drive on the RAV4 and was going to purchase this week but not from this dealership.

This place is a total scam. Stay away. They lie about what services they have done and charge a tremendous amount. Crooks. Absolutely awful service from everyone here. They need to be reported to BBB and anyone in charge of overseeing the Toyota dealerships.

I bought a 2018 Toyota tacoma with 62000 miles on it. On the window sticker it said It was a certified Toyota. Meaning 7 year warranty. On the website it says the same. The salesman was a nice person and everyone at Newbold was nice. However when I negotiated on the price and signed the first papers the salesman said they made a mistake and I can't have the warranty because of some outside scratches. I was disappointed but went ahead and did the deal. After a couple days I called back and tried to see if they would keep their word on the warranty. The sales manager said it was a mistake and still can't get me more than the 2 months and 3000 miles warranty. Not happy about that answer but can't do anything about it now. He did say he would see if he can get a discount on a aftermarket warranty but money is tight.

They are so understaffed they aren't able to do oil changes. They just don't care about serving the community from the service department to the parts department. NEVER AGAIN

On 8/14 I took my tacoma in for a oil change at Newbold Toyota. Huge issues, please contact me for more info if need be. I had just stepped outside the service area, and happen to catch the service tech stepping into my truck to drive it back into the shop for the service. This tech should have never been allowed to drive and service my vehicle due to his unability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.I observe this tech try so many times to simple drive a few feet in a straight line.I could tell instead of 1st gear, he continued to try to take off in 3rd.He tries, not once or twice.Nooo...5 times trying to move just a simple few feet. Instead of being forth coming with his unability to drive a manual transmission, and knw/let his service manager apon hiring knw he can not drive manuals.I had to run into the service dep. To inform them the issue at hand.If u can not drive a manual, then your supervisor should knw and be upfront to avoid any issues.TECH#3048.

I don't post reviews often, but this one is worth it. I contacted the dealership about purchasing my vehicle. They gave me an offer over the phone because it was "sight unseen," because they're not able to check things out and anything could be wrong with it, etc. So I then go down to the dealership, everything on my vehicle checks out 100%. SAME OFFER. I ask why the same offer as the "sight unseen one" and one of the many ludicrous responses that I received is that the offer actually could have been lower if they had found problems with my vehicle. So they give me a safe offer (in their favor) just for me to go there and be low balled with no legitimate response...? UNETHICAL

This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Newbold Toyota and another great experience. Worked with Erich and his manager Terry to find a vehicle before I went back to work. They found me exactly what I was looking for in a 2022 Toyota Camry. They had the car detailed and parked right out from up on arrival. The paperwork was also ready which made the entire process so easy. Thanks again!

We live in Missouri and bought a brand new 2023 Toyota Corolla SE. The car had 3 miles on it we picked it up. We had the car 10 days drove it to South Dakota and back. It was all interstate driving. We followed three other vehicles which were our friends, all had different vehicles. Chevy, Ford, Etc. we got our car home washed the dirt off from our trip and noticed well over 30 rock chips on the front of the car. The rock chips were so bad, it looked like someone one sprayed a shotgun of pellets over the front of the car. We called the dealership and talked to a used car sales manager named Terry. We voiced our concern there might be a defect in the paint or a clear coat wasn’t put on the car. He immediately dismissed my theory and said unfortunately without empathy and more of a smart unremorse response that were in the “wrong place at the wrong time.” He did however tell us if we wanted to to bring it in and drive an hour to pay for it to be fixed they could set that appointment up for us. After spending 30,000 on a car this how we were treated. We will never do business with them. We called the corporate office. Opened a claim, called our local Toyota dealership in Toyota and the sales rep was more than happy to bring us in to look at the damage without dismissing our concern. Even the corporate office couldn’t believe the way were treated and wanted a follow up after our appointment I have added just a few photos of the damage.

I am only giving them an extra star because I liked the finance manager. Besides that, the salesperson, Eric, had an attitude during the whole transaction, got my credit run on a car that i initially wanted but turned out that was already sold and was notified on my way to sign the papers and pick it up. The manager ended up giving me a discount on another one and i bought it although it was higher in price because i liked it better.I bought a car from them last year as well and did not have any sort of issue. It only takes one rude employee to lose a customer. And i change cars every year.

My mother is 80 years old and went here for a 90,000 mile service. She left with a repair estimate for $7,959 on her 2007 RAV4 which has only 87K miles on it. Kelly Blue Book is about $7,800. What really stood out to me was the comment about her tires. Dry rot and 7 years old. I inspected her tires and she has 4 Bridgestone tires in great shape. She probably puts less than 5K miles a year on her car. The service writer when asked about all the repairs told my Mom she shouldn't drive far. He also told her they could finance the repair bill. I'm thankful my Mom didn't pay the bill and left. Her car drives fine and her tires look great. This dealer apparently thought they would take advantage of an 80 year old woman by scaring her about her safety. What a disgrace! I have 3 Toyota's in my home and will never buy one or get service at this dealership. Your GM should be embarrassed.

Part 1: This is the worst Toyota Service within the US. Our 2002 Toyota Sequoia was given to them without any issues on a Wednesday, for a routine service & balancing. 7 days later we finally get a return call from the writer "your sequoia is unsafe to drive, so we had ordered a part that arrived since Thursday-your sequoia's CONTROL ARM BOOT is TORN and the STEERING ANGLE SENSOR NEEDS REPLACEMENT! It should be adding about $700 plus?" Newbold Toyota- now crooked and fleecing for money from honest US citizens. Part 2 post Service Manager inquiry 7/27/23OMG! This place NEEDS TO BE AUDITED ASAP. UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE MANAGER(S) FAILURES In meeting w/ the Service Manager Taylor, whom failed to enter our sequoia info into her computer before any issues could be addressed- rather sarcastically asking " well how OLD IS YOUR VEHICLE?" Cont'd to demean us that our vehicle was too old that a RETIRED MASTER MECHANIC, had to be called for his expertise! YET when we asked to speak to this RETD Mechanic- she immediately REFUSED stating he's @ a Drs appt!. So what I heard is that Newbold Toyota was taking instructions from a nonpayrolled retired employee! Taylor blatantly lied AGAIN stating "we are still waiting for a part"" when her writer Mark previously told us "part was here since LAST Thursday!" When we requested documents of the problem Taylor refused! When we requested a visual of the sequoia's issues - Taylor again denied! TAYLOR WAS UTMOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND APPARENTLY DISCRIMINATORY. After being tangled in her deceit of lies she had to tell us to leave - leading me to escalate and report such SERVICE FAILURES. PART 3: ESCALATION TOYOTA GM Steve, returns a call but in conversation attempts to negotiate a fee! Stating he can "waive the labor, but not the cost of part!" Now requesting $400? So - if Service already knew that said part was ordered but FAILED to get our acknowledgment or agreement- and FAILED to give us documents addressing any issues prior to ordering- then Toyota already PREMEDITATED and PREMATURELY PLANNED THIS SCHEME! That screams FRAUD! FRAUD! FAILURE AND FRAUD.

The worst car dealership and the worst service department I've ever seen in my life. They are all crooks and I caught fraud in my warranty, made them refund it or I would have them charged with financial fraud. They did refund me the money.

Had a great experience with Jesse, and the ‘The Dent guy’. A thoughtless ‘Swiftie’ put a small dent and bumper abrasion on the side of her ‘23 Cross. We always get the extended warranty to cover this stuff like this but never had to use it. Sent pics to the warranty company and got approved for the dent but not the scuffs. I picked up the car to find the dent gone, scuffs gone, looked almost like it never happened. AND Jesse took time on the phone with the warranty company, normally left for us to do and you know how those go, to get things right. Thank you Jesse and ‘The Dent guy’ for going above and beyond!! Pass that on!
