10000/10!! This was my first time coming here and am absolutely in love. The staff were friendly, informational and made my dog and I feel very welcome. My dog is not very fond of getting her nails done; however, they made her feel comfortable (even though she was scared) and trimmed her nails so well! I decided to do the dog wash station because my dog is also not fond of baths. Everything was clean, well organized, and one of the best dog wash stations I’ve been to!

Was unaware over the phone I would be bathing my dogs myself as I seen in reviews there was a groomer? Still very friendly staff and clean establishment.

They have a policy they don’t allow bath tubs to be used 1 hour before closing because they have to clean the tubs. I showed up at 5:09 and they close at 6:00. I would lose my mind if I owned this business and my employee turned down business for a 10lb dog to take a bath that takes a few minutes. How lazy can someone be? Last time I patron this business.

I have three dogs that require grooming and supplies. Furchild has been amazing. The friendly staff really seems to love and care for our furry family members. My dogs are really happy there and respond excitedly to the attention they receive from the staff. We were getting grooming services from another place in town and services there always seemed very rushed. My dogs seemed anxious when going to the other place. So we gave Furchild a chance. That was the best decision we could have made for our fur-babies. I honestly believe that Furchild is about the dogs --- not the dollar. They know my dogs and accommodate their unique personalities. Because they care, I truly believe they want what's best for our pets. The owner is very knowledgeable and has also provided great information to our family. I highly recommend Furchild.

Thank you Julie! We would be lost without you and your service! We adopted a 16 month Rottweiler that needed much support. Thanks to Julie, we got Zevon into training and got him socialization. After 5 years, we go there every 4 weeks to have his nails trimmed. She has a calming influence on him! We have learned much from her about his breed and are so grateful. Thank you for your kind and caring approach to our big boy!

BEWARE! Today I brought my two dogs in to get their nails clipped. I have a 6 month old 22 pound golden doodle who has never had his nails done at the groomer. We have trimmed his nails at home up to now. He was excited and nervous as you would expect a puppy to be in a new place. At first he was barking but settled. He was moving in the harness while his nails got cut and the owner/groomer said it’s not worth getting scratched so the owner (groomer) said she wouldn’t finish buffing his nails. That wasn’t a problem at all for me. She did my other dog and while doing that I was told my dog needs behavior training, his reactivity could turn into aggressiveness. Mine you by this time he was sitting on my lap watching my other dog get her nails done. Not barking continuously but still alert and nervous trying to understand the place and smells. The problem I had was what the groomer was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! It was obvious she was upset at something and taking it out on us. She said my dog might have gotten the worst traits of a golden doodle ( high energy) and a poodle (barking). She didn’t once try to calm him or even use his name during the nail trimming. He’s a puppy and it was his first experience suspended in the air to have his nails cut. The owner (groomer) proceeded to tell me he lacked confidence, he obviously didn’t get socialized ( not true), he should have been in puppy class I missed socializing him now I need to fix the problem. She was nothing short of rude!!!! She was cold and presented as very miserable. I paid and I left the appointment in shock at how she acted. I only came for a nail trimming.?
I took the dogs home and decided to go back and share my concerns, get her name, and see if she was the owner before making a review. I got there and I listened to other dogs barking and her telling the dogs to be quiet and that he needed a shock collar. What dogs bark other than my 6 month old puppy. As I was explaining my concerns to the front desk lady and getting the information I needed, the owner(groomer) came out to justify herself and explain that she sees lots of dogs and what she thinks of mine. She could have just stopped at “I’m sorry.” I finally had enough of her psycho analyzing by dog and doing it in a rude and shaming way. She threaten if I make a review she will get on here and make sure everyone knows about my reactive 6 month 22 pound puppy that scratched her while cutting his nails and lunged at other dogs. I would think having a puppy hanging in the air cutting his nails that way for the first time might have the puppy move and accidentally scratch her to get his bearing. She didn’t continue to buff the nails because he was moving, I understood. The more he’s exposed to a considerate person that helps him get use to it the behavior and fear will go away. What really got me was the lack of care she gave to my dog that it was his first time, he was a puppy, and she took out her frustration on telling me her negative opinion of my dog.
Another thing to point out is she exaggerated him lunging at another dog. That was the final straw! He was pulling on his leash excited, nervous, curious to be in a new place and to see the other dogs. I picked him up to stop him pulling on the leash which would have got him more excitable. He loves other dogs! He plays with other dogs all the time.
She didn’t like me having my own opinion about my dog and our conversation wasn’t going anywhere.I didn’t appreciated her threatening that if I make a review she will just speak poorly and speak miss information about my dog.
She then proceeds to kick me out and threaten to call the police. Telling me my dogs can’t be groomed by her. I can’t believe she would think I would want her to touch my dogs again. I wasn’t upset she would’t take my dogs. I was disgusted with her lack of professionalism and moody/ grumpy attitude. My friend was waiting outside for me so I wasn’t there by myself. I left and as I was leaving the owner/groomer called me a psycho!!!!! Not stabl

(Update)My Google name isn’t maiden name I booked. Your groomer knows. Please talk to her, Julie.I used to like here when the owner did grooming. I brought my senior Therapy dog for grooming.Young groomer told me it was difficult to groom because he has to sit down and cannot keep Saran’s up for her…..am I not paying for her this?Do you expect my senior dog to keep standing for 8hours?I am not returning since then.Sorry I really liked the owner though.

Been looking for a new groomer for our dogs for quite some time and have tried several places in the area without finding one we liked. The search is over. Julie and Ellen are great. Super friendly and informative. Great washing stations, treats, and accessories, but most of all, CLEAN! Highly recommended.

Furchild is fantastic. They got us in for a puppy trim same-day, the staff was great, and the service was top-notch. I will come back for everything I possibly can.

Groomer was extremely disrespectful and refused to take my dogs who were 20min late to their appointment though she agreed to accept them late when I originally booked their appointment. She would have taken them if they were 15min late but that extra few minutes was unacceptable. She claims to not even make appointments after 3:30 but their last grooming was scheduled at 3:30….. She had absolutely no professionalism on the phone and even stated “good I wasn’t going to rebook them anyway” not a way to run a successful business. You never know what people have going on in their lives or why they may be a few minutes late. And let’s not mention how outrageous their pricing is for a basic grooming!! Will never be going back and will absolutely never recommend them to anyone else.Edit for response:Then the owner responds to my review without even reading it (my review clearly stated 20min late not 30min and that it was communicated and agreed upon upfront when booking the appointment weeks in advance)…. Good luck to you both ?
