The playground has recently gone through a renovation, and it's really great. Nice soft surface and new equipment. The sidewalk near the floating stash has been re-done. The City of Oakbrook Terrace hosts concerts on Friday nights during the summer, so the stage is being put to good use.
The path around the lake can get muddy, and you usually have to dodge the goose poop. There's a covered picnic area with grills and a built-in cornhole game.
Unfortunately, the Nature Center is no longer open for drop-in visits.
Playground: Completely redone during Summer 2024.

Wonderful park, lots of room to walk and play. Soccer fields, tennis courts, playground equipment, 4 square, ping pong and chess tables.
I was there for a concert, but the acoustics were horrible. Please, get the music quality better, so I can come back.
Lots of parking, and although I didn’t use it, there is a concession stand for snacks.
Toilets: Clean large restrooms in main building with concessions.

Very peaceful place, recently renovated, clean and away from the noise of the road. Worth the extra minutes drive.
Nice pond with a few ducks around.
Didn’t get a chance to take a look inside and their bathrooms.
Plenty of parking spots next to outdoor playground.

Attended our family reunion here over this past weekend and the park was the perfect place! There were over 150 people and we parked in the parking garage on the lower level. We took advantage of the baseball field and I scored the first point!
There was a grey spider that hopped in my leg at the park so beware of the wildlife. A couple of people within my group had spider bites but I'm not sure if they came from the park or the hotel.
Overall I highly recommend!
We had portapotties, didn't see a open restroom while there.

What An awesome place. A clean park for the kids with a beautiful backdrop of nature. The lake is nice to walk around.
Parking is plentiful and free. This is located right behind Mike Ditka’s restaurant across from Oakbrook Mall.
Playground: Outstanding structure with slides and swings and musical instruments.
Toilets: Multiple port a potties
Picnic area: There is a trill and covered seating area overlooking the lake.

Cozy little park with a pond and a nice floating stage hidden behind the office buildings at Rt-83 & 22nd St.The parking lot is very small and it fills up really fast during summer night concert events. If you're attending a concert, make sure you park behind REI's back parking lot. They have a door built into the fence at the end of the parking lot, which they keep open during the concerts. If you're looking for an awesome date night, check out their website for a full schedule of the very talented bands. They also have trucks and tents with beer, water, soft drinks and food for sale at reasonable prices. They also have a small playground for the kids to burn off some energy.Playground: Small playground with limited amenities.Restrooms: Portable restrooms during concert nights.Dog-friendliness: You can bring your well behaved dog even during the concerts.

My wife and I met some friends there for a concert. The setting was fantastic. Can't wait to go again.
