We reserved a room and they sold it to another couple while refusing to give us a refund for the 250 dollars we spent for the night. I have never had this happen to me before. I do not recommend this place and I recommend not booking online unless you’re ok with them selling it to someone else.

Site was under construction. Side door was propped open both days while crew worked which could have been an opportunity for someone to enter the property without using the lobby. Probably not much of an issue, but was somewhat concerning. Rooms needed updating, but were clean. Bed was comfortable. Used Hilton app for check in and out with a digital key, so the process was smooth and quick. Location was good for what I needed, but no restaurants or stores within safe walking distance.

I finally found a super clean hotel that doesn’t break the bank! The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. I love it because it doesn’t smell like cigarettes. Even when I’m staying in downtown Chicago, I prefer to drive to Oakbrook to stay here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay with your family.

Rooms: They were OK, beds were hard, not very comfortable.Food & drinks: You have to pay for a real simple breakfast? They don't even offer a quick buffet for their guests. Wow. Most hotels offer breakfast, at no charge. The bar isn't open till after the 'late' dinner hour

The Hilton Garden Inn at Oakbrook always does an excellent job with service and cleanliness. If you need to stay near Oakbrook, this is a great option.

Only 1 person works at the hotel during the night. At 10pm we called because the heating/air was broken. The staff said they were the only one there and couldn't help.

Comfortable room with appliances, ample parking, and good access to nearby shopping and highways. Mattress a bit firmer than I like it but after a long day that didn't matter. Pretty quiet, too.

Upon arrival to the hotel, the front desk supervisor was not the friendliest staff member by far. My husband went to get a luggage cart and we were told they do not have any. They had two and they did not know where they were. My husband went to the hospitality room to see if they had anything to help us. They had a rolling cart that we made use of in order to transport our luggage. In my opinion, this is something that management should take care of IMMEDIATELY. The answer of, "It's lost and there is nothing I can do about it." is not ok. The room was so so. It was clean yet clearly OLD. It has not been updated since I stayed in this same hotel about 10 years ago. The furniture is beaten up and old. We came in one night and someone had dropped food on the floor near the fireplace. It was there for 2 days and was still not cleaned up when we checked out. This is unacceptable in my opinion. We did not request house keeping, so I cannot speak to that. The stay served the purpose but it was subpar for a Hilton property in my opinion.

I had a reunion in the area for the weekend and have always been more than satisfied with my Hilton Garden Inn stays. Being a Diamond Member I used my points for my two-night stay. It began at check-in which I did traditionally due to the fact I had received an email about a room upgrade. I wish I had gotten the woman's name but she does not seem to enjoy her job at all. I got up to my room and to my dismay the hotel was very outdated. I haven't been in the area for roughly 10 years and grew up 15 minutes away from here but Oakbrook used to be a posh area so I was disappointed but after a rough week I settled in. I headed downstairs for a meal and apparently they no longer offer the Primavera Pasta dish despite being on the menu. The next morning, I headed back down for breakfast only to find out that for the Greek Yogurt Bowl, I order at all of their locations, they were out of berries. I asked if they could chop up some fruit as a substitute which they did willing did both mornings. The fitness center had a nonfunctional treadmill and at least a partialy functioning recumbent bicycle. Heading over to the hot tub to take in a soak. Myself and another person were unable to find the switch to start the jets. To say I was pretty much disappointed would be an understatement. Since I travel Monday thru Friday most weeks and stay at Hilton Garden Inn most of the time it was a bit discouraging.

Great stay for 2 nights. The staff was very helpful when I arrived. But I gotta say, the restaurant staff is awesome! Chef Jeff makes some very tasty food, but beyond that, I really appreciated that he took the time to come out and ask me what type of stuff I like and show me the different things featured on the menu. And my server Dave was super friendly and helpful as well. He never stopped smiling. The best part was that when I came back for dinner the next night they both remembered me by name, remembered my order and made some great suggestions for my next meal. Great service really goes a long way!Rooms: Very spacious. Also, was very clean when I came in. I spend a lot of time on the road, and rooms aren’t always the “freshest”.
