I decided to try speaking with a few fiduciary financial advisers recently. Last up was Nicky Amore from Falcon. Her approach is smart, as it entails a series of appointments (at no cost to the client), during which you become familiar with her and her style, which is calm and very informative. She actually teaches financial courses, so this is basically second nature to her.
I've still not decided if I'm going to sign up with any financial advisers, as some of the best advice I've gotten to date is for me to educate and inform myself much more thoroughly. But once I'm educated, if I want someone to overlook my finances--and chances are that I will--I believe I'll be calling Nicky Amore.

They charged (fees) twice as much to the normal industry rate. The rate of return on the investments were pretty bad.
I was doing better on my investments that I picked.
Of all the reports that were presented on my portfolio, not one of the reports was a rate of return.

I found Falcon Wealth through Zoe. I was paired with Nicky Amore and she took the time to truly hear what my financial goals were, interests I had for my future, and how I wanted to spend my money. She asked detailed questions not just about my accounts but also about my life so she could make better suggestions for my investments. I could tell Nicky truly cares about those she works with and wants to see them financially succeed. I would recommend meeting with Nicky and letting her show you how she can help you on your financial management path. Her approach is thoughtful, strategic, and intelligent. On top of that, she also explains the complicated world of finance in a way your average Jane and Joe can understand.

We had a great experience working with Nicky Amore to learn about our financial situation and what we could do to strengthen it after receiving an unexpected inheritance. Nicky is an excellent teacher, and was able to make sense of our many documents, see where our previous setup was working and where it wasn't, and explained clearly how it could be changed to benefit us as we move toward retirement. Nicky is a fiduciary, meaning she is required to act in our best interests, and therefore is paid by fee (rather than by commission.) We had two comprehensive free meetings with her, with no requirement to continue with her company, and a written analysis for us to keep. There are different options to continue with the company, and she was very clear about explaining all of them--to take what we've learned already and move on (free), to do a short course of five more meetings where she can teach us how to manage our money (more affordable), or to have her company manage it (more expensive, but associated with bigger gains over time). I learned that sometimes it makes sense to have an expert take care of the things that matter, and I feel like it's a good investment to turn our finances over to Falcon under Nicky's supervision. I am recommending her services to my friends!

No idea how this place has any stars at all and it's still allowed to do business, I would give them less stars if possible. They intentionally lower your predicted outcome to make themselves look better and then try to rob you blind. You are better off picking random advice from a hat then listening to anybody that works here.Update: I worked with Chris out of another office, I will be leaving the review's there too.

We met with Nicky for 2 great consultation meetings. Falcon won't take you on as a client unless they can physically save you much more money than their cost. Will absolutely be utilizing them when our future/ assets require more assistance. My one request when we work with them in the future is that they "dumb things down" for us when the time comes.
